WHITAKER FAMILY & COSMETIC DENTISTRY - Key Persons

Tuscaloosa native Dr. Brett Whitaker had built a practice with a family-centered environment to serve the Tuscaloosa community. Tuscaloosa native Dr. Brett Whitaker chose dentistry as his profession when he realized what an opportunity it is to help others achieve a better personal self by improving their oral health. Having grown up with a wonderful family, he wanted to build a practice with a family-centered environment to serve the Tuscaloosa community. Dr. Whitaker attended Shelton State Community College and the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies. While attending both colleges, he lettered in baseball for four years. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. During dental school, he was involved in outreach dentistry and clinical care which allowed him to provide a wide variety of dental procedures using current dental technologies, including CAD-CAM and dental implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry procedures and oral diagnosis using digital imaging. Dr. Whitaker maintains an active continuing education calendar through his professional memberships in the American Dental Association and Alabama Dental Association. He enjoys golf and spending time at the lake with his parents and his sister, as well as having fun with his awesome niece and nephew. Dr. Brett Whitaker launched Whitaker Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Tuscaloosa with a vision to provide comprehensive general, cosmetic and surgical dental care for patients of all ages.
