SOUTHWOOD

Southwood is part of the original estate of the Livingston family, seven generations of whom lived on various parts of the estate during more than two centuries, the history of the land is equally remarkable. The 1776 map of the Livingston Manor is pictured here... We make our custom wood products from our forests of ancient White and Red Oak, Cherry, Maple, Hemlock, Locust and Black Walnut. Our forest is part of an historic estate situated on the Hudson river in Columbia County New York... From our forest we make rustic slabs that we turn into tables and other wood products in our workshop. We do custom work. We have cut 37 ‘ slabs for boat repair and 40' beams for barns. In our workshop we make tables, end tables, bread boards, desks and mantel pieces. From distressed trees in the forest we make art wood products. We can make whatever wood products you can imagine.
