Mrs. Stephanie Porter is beginning her 12th year as the Library Media Specialist at Bracken County High School and her 16th year of teaching. She earned her Bachelor's and Library Media Degrees from the University of Kentucky. In addition to being the Media Specialist for the High School and Middle School, Mrs. Porter also teach Arts and Humanities at both schools, English 12, Credit Recovery, and Digital Learning. I live in Flemingsburg and have 2 sons, a 7th grader and a 2 year old... Arts & Humanities - This course explores the relationship of the Arts to history, society and culture by looking at all the different aspects of the Arts including music, visual arts, drama, and dance. We examine the basic components of these subject areas, learn about great compositions, artworks, works of literature and dances that have defined different eras and cultures throughout history.
