Andrea Ambrose

Andrea is the Director of Member Resources and joined MCAA in 2013. She is responsible for management and onboarding for all member programs including data trends, market insights, education and more. Andrea is also responsible for the Career Center and acts as a liaison with our partners including UPS, Boxwood Technologies, and US Learning. She holds a degree in Governmental Administration with a Public Management concentration from Christopher Newport University. Prior to beginning her career in the Association Management industry, Andrea spent 12 years in local government land use planning.

Brien Whitford

Brien Whitford is the President & CEO of Engineered Specialty Products, a manufacturer of pressure and temperature instruments. His work history includes a variety of leadership positions, serving as the Engineering Manager, Supply Chain Manager, President of ESP China, and Vice President of Supply Chain & Global Operations. Brien earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa, and his MBA from the University of Hong Hong. He hails from Iowa City, IA and in his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golf and watching his daughters play volleyball.

Craig Carroll

Craig was elected to the MCAA Board in November 2021 as a Director-At-Large.

Elizabeth Horton

Job Titles:

Elizabeth is the Programs Manager and has been with the MCAA Team since 2016. She is responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly bookings reports, the annual Compensation Report and the annual Operating Benchmarks Report. She also manages the process for Customer Satisfaction and Specialty Benchmarks. Prior to joining this phenomenal MCAA team, Elizabeth worked in the Banking Industry for 20 years and was most proud of her recognition for her client retention rate.

Kim Malina

  • Marketing Communications Manager
Kim joined the MCAA team in 2015 as Marketing Communications Manager. She is responsible for the design and implementation of all digital and printed marketing collateral for the Association. Kim also maintains the MCAA website and manages branding for all aspects of social media and any necessary content in which MCAA is represented. Her graphic design and marketing career include 20 years with Shorewood Packaging, a Business of International Paper and her own freelance design company. Kim holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Communications concentration from Christopher Newport University.

Melissa Blashka - Treasurer

Melissa Blashka is the President of Cosasco. Formerly, she was Vice President and General Manager of Barksdale Controls, a subsidiary of Crane Co., where since 2015, she led the Industrial & Oil & Gas businesses with responsibility for the global strategy, growth and profitability of pressure, temperature, level instrumentation and valves with manufacturing in Vernon (LA), Germany, and China. At Barksdale, Melissa led the transformation of the business from mechanical to digital and led the development and implementation of numerous processes to improve speed of customization and effectiveness of channel management. Melissa holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. She was elected to the MCAA Board of Directors in 2019.

Michelle Herl

Mike Lueck

Mike has been with Mid-West® Instrument since 1984 starting as a Product Engineer, moving to Vice-President Engineering and Quality Assurance and currently President. Mid-West® Instrument is a leading manufacturer of differential pressure gauges, switches, and transmitters for a wide range of industries. Prior to Mid-West® Instrument, he was a Reliability Engineer with General Dynamics Land Systems Division working on the M1 Main Battle Tank. Mike holds a BSME Degree from the University of Michigan. He is currently a Director-At-Large for the American Backflow Prevention Association, a Director for the Western Golf Association-Evans Scholars, Vistage Member, and volunteers on several industry technical committees.

Rebecca Buhner

Rebecca Buhner is the Director of Flow Controls, Inc., a Maryland based manufacturer's representative and service provider for industrial process control instrumentation founded in 1979. Rebecca joined the team of Flow Controls in 2009 to focus on outside sales after serving many years on the company's Board. Prior to that, she worked primarily for local and Federal Government agencies. Her process control market experience includes the water and waste industry, chemical production, power generation, O&G, OEM, food and beverage, government and bio-pharm/pharmaceutical. Rebecca earned two bachelor's degrees from Colgate University in 1997 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in June 2000. She currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rebecca Moore

Rebecca joined the staff of MCAA in 2014. As Administrative Manager, she oversees multiple areas for the Association including: accounts payable/receivable, employee benefits, events registration, new member registration, payroll, and shipping. Rebecca is also responsible for contact management and member portal access as well as supporting all MCAA member programs and events.

Scott Rollman

Scott Rollman is currently the Vice President, Administration at VEGA Americas. He is responsible for managing a sales force and strategy across multiple markets and channels. VEGA Americas is a wholly-owned subsidiary of VEGA Grieshaber KG, a global manufacturer of level and pressure measurement instrumentation. During his time at VEGA, Scott has held numerous positions, all of which helped to develop and grow VEGA's global market share via strategy development and implementation. Under his guidance, he has helped to grow VEGA's business in China and Taiwan and currently co-leads global strategies for international capital projects and global agreement accounts as well as global sales meetings. Scott has done significant work to establish VEGA Measurement Mexico, VEGA Brazil and VEGA Canada. Prior to VEGA, Scott began his career as a manufacturer's representative seller, working with suppliers to provide process automation solutions to his customers. This is where he found his passion for helping others solve complex problems with technological solutions.

Shane Filer

Shane Filer is the General Manager for Neal Systems (NSI), a representative / integration company near Philadelphia, where he has been for over 20 years. He has been involved with industrial instrumentation and automation for almost 30 years, including some early career time with both Leeds & Northrup and Honeywell, as well as past president of one of the Pennsylvania ISA sections. He loves teaching on various industrial subjects, telling horrible dad jokes, spending time with family, hiking national parks, lifting weights, watching football, and growing the NSI business along with the amazing companies that his organization represents. He believes that everything rises and falls on leadership, and spends a lot of time growing his own and others' collective leadership capability - and thus is passionate about the MCAA organization and what it is doing to raise up the leadership knowledge within this industry.

Skip Tierno

Skip Tierno has served as President of the Americas for UCT Fluid Solutions since 2015. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering followed by a Masters degree in Finance. Following a successful military career, Skip has over 30 years of global leadership and executive management experience. His success has spanned across various industries with companies such as Pepsi Co., Schlumberger, BTR, Stewart & Stevenson, Weatherford International, Kirby Corp, and Precision Castparts Corp.

Teresa L. Sebring - President

Teresa Sebring has been a member of the MCAA team since 1997. Her career in the Association Management industry began as the Administrative Assistant to the President. Over the years her responsibilities increased to include program and membership development. She is responsible for operations of MCAA including: communications, program and staff oversight, marketing and meeting/event planning. She also contributes her talents to membership development, retention, and strategic planning. In August 2016, Mrs. Sebring was appointed to the role of Association President by the Board of Directors. Teresa holds a BA in Business Management from Christopher Newport University and is a lifetime member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
