Alan Schnitzer is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. Schnitzer joined Travelers in April 2007 as Vice Chairman and Chief Legal Officer. He then went on to lead the company's Financial, Professional and International Insurance segment and subsequently the company's Business and International Insurance segment. He also oversaw Travelers' Field Management, Corporate Communications and Public Policy organizations. Before joining Travelers, Schnitzer served as the company's lead outside counsel as a partner in the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he advised corporate clients on a variety of transactions and general corporate law matters. Joan Woodward is Executive Vice President of Public Policy for Travelers and President of The Travelers Institute. She is a member of the company's Management Committee, Operating Committee, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee, and also serves on The Diversity Council, and the Travelers Foundation Board. Woodward joined Travelers in 2008 from Goldman Sachs to establish The Travelers Institute as the company's thought leadership and public policy platform. Prior to her current role, Woodward worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. for ten years, where she was the founding Executive Director of the company's Global Markets Institute, the firm's international public policy and institutional investor educational platform. She also served as Founding Director of Washington Equity and Bond Research for Goldman Sachs' Global Investment Research where Institutional Investor magazine recognized her as a top Washington analyst for investors. Thomas B. Leonardi

Mr. Leonardi served as Executive Vice President of American International Group, Inc. and Vice Chairman of AIG Life Holdings, Inc. from November 2017 until his retirement in May 2020, where he was responsible for Government Affairs, Public Policy, Communications and Sustainability. From January 2015 to October 2017, he was a Senior Advisor to Evercore Inc., a global investment banking advisory firm. Previously, Mr. Leonardi was Commissioner of the Connecticut Insurance Department from February 2011 to December 2014. For 22 years prior to his appointment as Commissioner, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northington Partners Inc., a venture capital and investment banking firm. Before Northington, he was head of the investment banking and venture capital divisions of Conning & Company and President of Beneficial Corporation's insurance subsidiaries. He began his career as a litigation attorney in Connecticut.

Todd C. Schermerhorn

Mr. Schermerhorn served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of C. R. Bill Heyman is Vice Chairman of Travelers and serves as Chair of the company's Investment Policy Committee. He served as Chief Investment Officer of Travelers from May 2005 to August 2019. Prior to that, Heyman was Chief Investment Officer of the company's predecessor, The St. Paul Companies, which he joined in May 2002 from Citigroup, where he was Chairman of Citigroup Investments. He was previously a Managing Director of Salomon Brothers and Director of Market Regulation at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Heyman graduated from Princeton University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and Harvard Law School. He was Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) until July 2020. He is also a member of the Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
