The School of Public Finance and Taxation (SPFT) is one of the oldest and most recognized unit at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE). First established in 1952 known as "the Department of Public Finance", SPFT later adopted the current name in 1991 to become one of the first schools in the country in these areas... SPFT provides undergraduate, master's, doctoral degrees, which offer courses in tax planning, public finance, public budgeting, taxation in China, and many more. In the 2018 academic year, there are more than 900 undergraduates, over 320 masters, and 40 full time doctoral students... The Institute of Public Economics and Policy (IPEP) is a nonprofit research organization affiliated with and funded by the School of Public Finance and Taxation, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE). IPEP is a dedicated platform that facilitates international collaborations among academics, policy makers and industrial participants to conduct research..
