At Veranda, learning is all about inspiring the learner. We build on qualities and skills around perseverance, analytical thinking, collaboration, communication and entrepreneurship... In 2017, we at Veranda embarked on a journey to open a small neighbourhood playschool catering to the age group of 2-6 years. It has been most rewarding as we strived to make school fun with the sole aim of making children love school. We adopted Howard Gardner's concepts of Multiple Intelligences, as it has far reaching implications for Curriculum Development and Classroom Implementation. All the concepts are introduced to the children in eight comprehensive categories or "Intelligences"... We at Veranda, have designed an unique curriculum largely based on the theory of multiple intelligences developed by Howard Gardner, a psychologist at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
