Doug Young is the founder of The Canine Way, a motivational and leadership training company. Combining lessons learned from training dogs with lessons learned from training people, Doug offers a unique approach to personal and professional development programs. He has held management roles in government and the private sector where he has designed and presented workshops on leadership development, team building, process improvement, communication skills, personality assessments and numerous, other, topics. When not conducting workshops or developing new programs, Doug Young, and his partner Kate, live on a small farm with a menagerie of animals consisting of alpacas, Anatolian Shepherds and Dandie Dinmont Terriers.
