xPress APIs are developed by a global, membership driven community - the Access 4 Learning (A4L) Community - made up of educational policymakers, marketplace product & service providers, and the customers they serve; all collaborating daily to address real world learning and resource issues... The A4L Community is a ‘membership driven' association, therefore our focus is on providing solutions for real-world ‘use cases' and the issues of our members. We believe that educational institutions, parents and school administrators must have access to state-of-the-art tools populated with up-to-date information in order to make effective use of a myriad of diverse resources. These resources, when combined effectively produce an effective learning environment for all students... Using REST, oAuth and internet grade security, xPress APIs are an open standard and help avoid vendor lock-in!
