Education: Michael L. Wright holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Cincinnati. Attorney Michael L. Wright is active in various professional organizations including the American Trial Lawyers Association, where he was selected in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers; the Ohio Association of Justice, where he serves as a Committee Chair; the Ohio State Association, the Dayton Bar Association; Thurgood Marshall Law Society and the African American Chamber of Commerce. Davis Schwartz

Davis Schwartz is Wright & Schulte's newest associate. Davis has worked with us while he finished law school at the University of Dayton and while studying for the bar examination, now joining our team of attorneys. During his time at the University of Dayton School of Law he was involved with many organizations including: Publications Editor of the Law Review, President of the Honor Council, member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the Paul McGreal Fellow. Davis also enjoys reading books about the Supreme Court of the United States and his favorite food is chicken wings. Dennis Mulvihill

Dennis Mulvihill is a partner in the firm. Mulvihill's practice is primarily in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries. Dennis has received many statewide honors in recent years. Since 2012, Super Lawyers, Thomson Reuters, named Dennis one of the top 50 lawyers in Cleveland and one of the top 100 lawyers in Ohio. Dennis has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer every year since 2008, honoring the top five percent of all lawyers in Ohio; and prior to that, was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, honoring the best young lawyers in the state. These recognitions are based on the results of statewide surveys of lawyers and peer evaluation. In 2012, Dennis was appointed by the Ohio General Assembly to the Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission as one of twenty public members. The Commission also includes twelve members of the Ohio Legislature. The purpose of the Commission is to the study the constitution, discuss changes, and make recommendations to the General Assembly and public to modernize the Constitution. In 2010-2011 Dennis was the President of the Ohio Association for Justice, the only statewide association of trial attorneys who devote their practices to representing people who have been injured by the negligence of others. He has been a member of the OAJ Board of Trustees since 1999. In 2014, Dennis was named a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers, and organization that recognizes the best advocates from each era, and whose mission is to support the right to trial by jury; improve advocacy; abolish animosity between lawyers representing plaintiffs and defendants; encourage ethical conduct; and protect the rights of citizens, the independence of the judiciary, and the integrity of the bar. Mulvihill has had numerous six and seven figure verdicts on behalf of injured clients in medical malpractice, product's liability, auto-accident, and other negligence cases. Dennis was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Kenyon College in 1988. In college he was an All-American swimmer and participated in the 1988 and 1992 Olympic swimming trials, in an effort to make the United States Olympic Swimming Team. He taught high school history for two years at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio, and graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, cum laude, in 1994.

Jacob A. Gebelle

Kate Van Schaik is an associate focusing her practice on mass tort litigation. Kate is passionate about representing individuals and families injured by defective medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and defective consumer products. While at the University of Dayton School of Law, Kate was a staff writer for University of Dayton School of Law Review and a member of the University of Dayton School of Law Moot Court Team. Kate was also a research and teaching assistant for the Legal Writing Department at the University of Dayton School of Law and served as Honor Council Chief Justice. Prior to joining Wright & Schulte, Kate completed clerkships at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and the Juvenile Court of Montgomery County. Roger Denton

Roger has served as an Executive Board Member of the Mass Tort Trial Lawyer Association, a member of the American Association for Justice, a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and a member of Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. Roger is a frequent speaker at national and local seminars and conferences involving mass torts and pharmaceutical litigation. Roger has appeared on CNN, KSDK television in St. Louis Missouri, and multiple radio stations over his career. He has also been featured in an article in Vanity Fair.

Stephen D. Behnke

Stephen D. Behnke practices in the areas of civil litigation, business transactions, and real estate and landlord-tenant law. Stephen is licensed to practice law in Ohio and California. He is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ) and was named a Rising Star for 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015 by Ohio "Super Lawyers" magazine, and was included in the list of the top 40 trial lawyers under the age of 40 for 2012 by the National Trial Lawyers Organization. He is currently serving as Vice-President of the Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association. Stephen is an active contributor to the Ohio legal community. He has co-authored two amicus briefs filed with the Ohio Supreme Court, he has written two articles for "Trial," the OAJ quarterly legal periodical, and he has spoken on subrogation and other issues for continuing legal education. He also received the Distinguished Service Award in 2010 from the OAJ. Stephen has written pleadings, and presented oral arguments for the Ohio Supreme Court and various trial and appellate Courts throughout Ohio and California. He has also appeared and tried cases in various courts throughout Ohio. Stephen graduated Summa Cum Laude and with Honors in 1997 from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in Political Science. Stephen then entered the University of Dayton School of Law as a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. While a student at the University of Dayton School of Law, he earned CALI awards representing the top score in his class in Contracts I, Constitutional Law I and Constitutional Law II. Stephen earned his law degree in May of 2000.
