Originally from Berlin, Germany, I have lived in the U.S. since 2009 with my husband, 2 children and 2 dogs in the Midwest. I have loved raising my family and as they have grown older (and become more independent), I still felt the desire to assist others to live their lives with ease and joy. When we lived in Pennsylvania, I helped an elderly lady with the daily challenges that many older people face, allowing her to stay in the comfort of her own home. The sparkle in her eyes when I entered her home is something I will always treasure! I truly feel that caregiving is a two-way street enriching each other's lives! It is my passion to ensure that every individual lives to their fullest potential every day, whether it is through the simple act of getting dressed, taking a stroll or enjoying their families and pets.
