Our teams are the beating heart of everything we do and so I'm passionate about creating and embedding processes and cultures in co-production with our teams which give them the support and tools they need to be able to work to the best of their abilities. The support I provide to different departments can range from innovation to streamlining efficiencies to helping to create an overarching infrastructure.

Having worked for RCH for the last four years with a background of 15 years in Health and Social Care, I love working for RCH because of the family values and the team I work with. My role is very varied from onboarding of new starters to change management, from retention strategy to all people management matters.

Having come from a background in banking and finance, working in the care sector for the first time where I am overseeing all the financial activities for RCH has been a unique experience and I am fortunate to learn new things every day. It is a pleasure working with like-minded colleagues who are all very supportive and readily share their expertise in their respective areas.

Gunbir is one of our Associate Directors and part of the Rai family, who run RCH Care Homes. Qualified in economics, with a background in accounting, Gunbir works in a variety of different areas of the business and likes the fact that no two days are the same. He loves chatting to residents, their families and our team members and listening to their life stories and anecdotes. He is also inspired when he sees our company values in action and our care teams show the same tenderness and kindness supporting our residents, as they would do if they were caring for their own family members. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active by walking in the great outdoors with his two German Shepherds, swimming, playing football and visiting new places. He also loves eating his mum's Indian food - which he says is amazing (and probably why he needs to stay so active!), reading and spending time with his family and friends. With 40 years in the Health and Social Care sector, I am passionate about leadership because good leaders transform the lives of teams and the people in our care. In RCH, we encourage co-production leadership - working in a joined-up way both within the organisation and with our external partners across the wider landscape of health and social care.

Jasmeet is one of our Associate Directors and part of the Rai family, who run RCH Care Homes. Whilst Jasmeet has a background in economics and accounting, she can often be found in our care homes, spending time with our residents and learning from them and our teams about how the business can be further improved. Having grown up in a community where elderly people are an integral and active part of society, she loves working in the care sector. Here she is able to support teams to create happy care home communities, where elderly people are cared for with the same love and respect as the older people surrounding her as she grew up. In her spare time, Jasmeet loves taking in the great outdoors with her two dogs, keeping active, dancing, baking, reading, watching football and listening to an eclectic mix of music from R ‘n' B to show tunes! Being part of a close family, she also enjoys capturing memories of their time spent together through taking lots and lots of photographs (to the point it becomes annoying!) and learning how to cook her mum's incredible food. The importance of the environments our teams work in and our residents live in can't be underestimated. I enjoy providing support to different departments whether it's involvement with recent refurbishments, helping to create overarching infrastructure which supports a caring family culture, or encouraging the use of innovative technology - I definitely never thought the first place I'd experience virtual reality (VR) is in a care home!

Looking after those in our care, both teams and residents alike, includes looking after their physical environments too so I'm responsible for building and equipment maintenance and developments, ensuring that all members of our teams have a safe place to work.

As the Operations Director for RCH, I am passionate about making sure that we are providing the best quality care. However, we can only do this by having the best teams who are fully supported and developed into their roles.
