Anna Adaska

Anna Adaska received her BFA in Dance from San José State University where she was the Outstanding Graduating Senior in Choreography. During her undergraduate studies she was a three-year member of University Dance Theater (SJSU's pre-professional performing company) and performed contemporary works as well as José Limón repertoire. Ms. Adaska also performed in the shelter of the fold with Doug Varone and Dancers and a staged version of Mendelssohn's Elijah oratorio during her time at SJSU. After graduation Ms. Adaska joined AROVA Contemporary Ballet for a short time in Birmingham, Alabama. She later moved to Boise, Idaho where she danced and choreographed for Idaho Dance Theatre. During that time, she assistant directed two full-length performances and organized and participated in educational outreach programs at local elementary schools. She now teaches dance at Boise State University and local dance studios, as well as offers ballet training to Boise State's Mane Line dance team. Ms. Adaska completed her MFA in Choreography at Jacksonville University where she studied how to promote body neutrality in ballet classrooms.

Danielle Siegel

Danielle was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She began dancing at the age of three and hasn't stopped since. Danielle trained at local studios in Boise where she competed in various competitions in the northwest. She also performed at many local community events. After graduation Danielle began attending Boise State University where she is currently studying Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering, and of course a minor in Dance. She continues her dance education at BSU with Marla Hansen, Yurek Hansen, and Jaime Moore. She has also been a part of Focus Dance Ensemble for the past two years under the direction of Gonzalo Valdez. She has also recently joined an all styles company, FUSE, where she continues to learn from various dancers and choreographers around the valley. Passing on her knowledge as a dance teacher is something Danielle is very excited to do here at Artistic Dance Company.

Jaime Moore-McLean

Jaime is the owner of Artistic Dance Company. She is a native to Boise where she started dancing at the age of two. She teaches all styles of dance specializing in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet & children classes. Jaime is the Owner & Director of Artistic Dance Company. She currently teaches Jazz at Boise State University where she co-choreographed the production "Thoroughly Modern Millie" for the Boise State University Theater Department held at the Morrison Center. Jaime was the Director/Choreographer for the Boise Burn Football Arena Hotshots Dancers from 2007-2009. In 2006, Jaime moved from Denver where she had been dancing with the Colorado Contemporary Dance Co. in addition to touring with the Damsels Dance Revue and Moment's Notice Entertainment Company. She danced and served as a co-captain for the Denver Nuggets Dancers. She taught for many local dance studios while in Denver in addition to coaching the Buff Gold Dance Team at University of Colorado. Her extensive choreography and modeling experience includes major companies such as Foley's & Nordstrom. A highlight was with Everlast Active Apparel in the Magic International Show where she performed with celebrities Evander Holyfield, L.L. Cool J, P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and Lil' Kim. She has performed for both television and video. Her commercial work includes Budweiser, the Denver Bronco's and the Denver Nuggets. While living in Los Angeles she worked on the set of Lifetime's "Any Day Now." She was the opening act for the Burlesque performer Dita Von Teese. Jaime also traveled with Royal Caribbean and worked as a dancer while traveling through the Caribbean islands. Prior to her travels, Jaime performed with the Boise State University Mane Line Dancers. She was titled "Miss Super Sensational Collegiate" in Santa Barbara her freshman year. Jaime graduated from BSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Addiction Studies. Jaime has a wide range of students that followed in her footsteps and went on to become professional dancers. These students have danced for Michael Jackson, Florence & the Machine, Jennifer Lopez, MTV Music Awards, VH1 Music Awards, So You Think You Can Dance, Denver Bronco Cheerleaders, Denver Nugget Dancers, San Antonio Spurs Dancers, St. Louis Ram Cheerleaders and Disneyland dancers just to name a few. Jaime hopes to inspire more dancers to be comfortable in their own skin and always follow their dreams.

Julia Rector

Julia began dancing at Backstage Dance Center in 2010. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, acro and competition dance. She simultaneously competed on two nationally ranked dance teams; the Backstage Dance Center teams and the Meridian High School Warriorettes. Julia proudly led the Warriorettes as captain her senior year. Julia received her Module One Acrobatics Arts Certification. She is currently pursuing a minor in dance at Boise State University and a proud member of The Lady Spurs dance team for the Idaho Horsemen.

Kennedy Kaya

Kennedy began her dance training at the age of 6 at Desert Shores Dance Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. There she trained in tap, jazz, and ballet. When her family relocated to Roseville, CA, Kennedy continued her training at the Northern California Dance Conservatory (NCDC) with classes in ballet, modern, contemporary, pointe, tap, and hip hop. At NCDC, she had the opportunity to learn from Sidra Bell (Sidra Bell Dance New York), Lee Wei Chao (Lines Ballet), Anthony Lomuljo (Royal Swedish Ballet) and many more. She trained with the Northern California Dance Conservatory for 10 years where she was a featured soloist for several productions. After high school, Kennedy moved to Boise to attend Boise State University to study Nursing. In the past several years, she trained with Marla Hansen where she became a Company Member and choreographer for Idaho Dance Theatre, a professional contemporary dance company in the Treasure Valley. When she's not in the studio, Kennedy is working as a Registered Nurse in Boise. Kennedy is happy to continue on to her fifth season with her ADC family

Paige Peterson

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Paige began dancing as a recreational dancer at The Academy of Dance Arts as an eager middle-schooler. After quickly finding a passion for jazz, contemporary, and musical theater, Paige became a Competition Team Member at ADA where she competed across Southern California. During her time in High School, Paige joined Scripps Ranch Dance Company where she served as an officer for two years and was included in over 25 dance pieces (in just about every style under the sun). Upon choosing to move to Idaho to attend Boise State and pursue a degree in Psychology, she found Bronco Dance Club where she served as the President for two years, performed in multiple Repertory Showcases under Marla Hansen, and has been given the privilege to take classes from Jaime Moore. Paige is excited for her first year at ADC and to continue to educate the next generation of dancers!

Stephanie Birdsall

Stephanie has been dancing since the age of three and is passionate about teaching, choreographing, and instilling the love of dance in her students. She studied ballet in Boise under various instructors including Vasile Petrutiu and was involved in many local performance groups. She was a featured tap dancer in Boise Music Week's production of 42nd Street. She continued studying ballet at BSU with Marla Hansen and apprenticed with Idaho Dance Theatre before moving to California where she was the preschool director for the Camarillo Academy of Performing Arts, and also helped develop & institute a ballet curriculum there. In 2005, she was privileged to attend David Howard's Teachers' Training Workshop in New York City. Stephanie loves exploring new styles of dance & helping her students to grow as artists and reach their full potential. She will be entering her 25th year of teaching and is thrilled to be starting a new journey with Artistic Dance Company!

Tori Sabus

Tori began her dance training at the age of four at The Rhythm Room in Jefferson, Iowa. She started with the basics of tap and ballet and advanced into jazz and Hip-hop. She fell in love with dance within the first few years of taking class, loving tap and hip-hop the most. When she moved to Idaho she continued her dance education at Fort Boise Recreation Center taking Hip-Hop, tap and cheerleading. At age 10 she started taking class at Pat Harris School of Dance where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and participated in their Petite Company for 5 years. At age 13 she started studying dance at Artistic Dance Company under the instruction of Jaime Moore-McLean and Stephanie Birdsall. She started assisting with classes when she was 15 years old. It was in these years that Tori fell in love with teaching and sharing her passion of dance with others. Tori is currently studying at Boise State University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Tori is excited to start her first year as an instructor and to share her passion of dance with her students.
