Chen loves working with children and aspires to always look at the world through kids' eyes. She cultivates and enjoys Bamboo's loving, nurturing environment and believes such an environment encourages children to learn, experience and embrace new challenges.
A Beijing native, Chen is a proud Mandarin speaker and has over 8 years of experience in teaching all levels of Mandarin to international and local students. Chen's engineering background makes her a strong believer that learning STEM at young age significantly helps children build critical thinking and problem solving skills and gives them academic advantages.
Teacher Guan has over 20 years of rich experience in early childhood education. Teacher Guan loves to work with young children because she enjoys their positive energy and curious spirit. She is caring, patient and loving and embraces each child as who she or he is.
As an advocate of applying psychoanalysis and individual psychology to child development, Xiaojie has devoted herself to early childhood education. She designs age appropriate Chinese and English curriculum based on academic research and best practices of education for preschoolers and toddlers.
Xiaojie speaks Mandarin, German and English and has a strong background in math, natural science, history as well as Chinese literature. Her rich experience of staying in different countries and over 5 years of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has enriched her multicultural perspective.
