Embarking on a therapeutic journey can feel daunting, and I first want to commend you for taking this step and prioritizing your well-being, healing, and growth. My name is Jenaya, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you on this journey. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alberta and am currently completing my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa.
My main priority is to foster a compassionate and non-judgmental environment wherein we can work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your lived experiences, and I focus on meeting you where you're at, integrating therapeutic approaches to best support you in a meaningful way. A few approaches that resonate with me are Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Overall, my approach is rooted in an empathetic and validating therapeutic relationship that acts as a foundation for new understandings and perspectives to be explored. I believe that while each individual possesses unique strengths and capacities to navigate life's hardships, we all feel stuck sometimes and could use a little help to get through it.
Hello, my name is Kevin. I am naturally curious and enjoy getting to know people. This is a key feature of my practice. In addition, I think of people as human beings with dreams, desires, fears and histories. I believe the individual is the expert in their own life. If you decide you would like to meet me, we would start by evaluating if it would be a good fit in terms of a therapeutic relationship, which is the basis of effective therapy. We would look at your life, and the pressing struggles you are going through. We would take some time to define your values. Values are very much like the lamp posts along the way as we move through both dark times and good times. We would also spend some time defining your goals, which are essential to therapy. Empathy, non-judgement, and understanding would also be present in our therapeutic space. I work under a humanistic-existential framework. This means I value all the people I get to help as human beings that struggle with life's givens and existential anxiety. I view anxiety and depression as natural stages in the normal process of human development and maturation. It is common for people to want practical strategies to help feel psychologically healthy. I also use a mix of mindfulness and behavioural strategies to help with psychological wellness. If you think we would be a good fit and have any questions, I would be happy to answer them. I wish you all the best in your journey to psychological well-being.

Hello, my name is Megan and I'm here to support you. My goal is for you to feel heard, accepted, and safe.
I know it can feel intimidating to seek therapy, but it really can make all the difference. One of the biggest misconceptions is that all individuals who seek therapy have some sort of mental illness; however, therapy is for everyone, and we can all use a little help once in a while.
My main focus is treating youth and adolescents. Being a teenager comes with a lot of new experiences that can be overwhelming and stressful, which I can help you navigate through. I also treat adults on a variety of concerns such as interpersonal and relational difficulties, behavioural issues, anxiety, and depression. In our sessions together, my aim will be to assist you in identifying and understanding the root cause of your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours, and to provide you with tools to make beneficial changes in your life that will allow you to feel and function better.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I hold both a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology. My philosophy stems from both a strengths-based and client-centered perspective. I use an integrative approach as I truly believe therapy is a personal journey and should be customized to each individual's unique situation, personality, strengths, and goals. I will tailor our sessions based on your needs while incorporating activities and techniques that are evidence-based and age appropriate. I'm glad you're here and I look forward to meeting you.

I hope to provide a safe and warm space, and I take a client-centred and collaborative approach to my therapeutic work. We will identify your strengths and areas of focus, and together we will create a plan to find the best path forward.
