I've decided to write about my military experience because it, along with being a father, a husband, and an attorney, has shaped my worldview. In the military, we live by a code where people do right by each other. Nobody's perfect, but one of the biggest sins is to do something wrong to your fellow Marine, Sailor, Soldier or Airman, or your failure to take care of him or her. Whether you particularly like them or not. It's therefore a virtue to do right by people and, by extension, by your unit, your chain of command, and your service. If you make a mistake you own up to it. Attorney Mike Cardoza has a unique perspective on consumer debt collection. He is not only an experienced trial litigator, he is a former debt buying corporation owner and senior executive at a debt collection law firm.
