CLIMATE ALLIANCE MAPPING PROJECT

The Climate Alliance Mapping Project (CAMP) is an initiative led by a team of geographers, storytellers, and archivists at the University of Arizona. CAMP builds interactive climate justice story maps that bring together scientific data and digital stories produced by affected communities to educate the public, connect local communities with global climate justice networks, and inform policy decisions... A collaborative effort between academics, environmental NGOs, and indigenous organizations to address the global challenge of climate change by creating interactive multimedia maps and a web portal that will engage the public, build activist and community networks, and inform policy decisions.
