My clinical orientation is rooted in humanistic and existential psychology and philosophy. I received a Doctor of Psychology (2006), Specialist Degree (2004), and a Master's Degree (1998) in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology... Traumatic life experiences can affect our ability to optimally function in the present. Memories, feelings, and beliefs that are associated with trauma can cloud our perceptions and responses to people and situations in the current circumstances of our lives...
