Abigail Chen Wise was raised in Highland Park, New Jersey. In 2005, after receiving an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, she moved to Orlando and was awarded her Juris Doctorate from The Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2008.
Abigaillives in Central Florida with her elementary school aged son and daughter, puppy, and two cats. She enjoys traveling, the beach, and snowboarding.

Alejandro M. Casanova has been an attorney for over 33 years. He was raised in Miami, Florida and he graduated from the University of Miami in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 1985 Alejandro graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. From 1986 through 1990 he worked with Taylor, Brion, Buker & Greene as a litigation and insurance defense attorney. In 1990 he became a partner at Casanova & Bell P.A. The firm concentrated mostly on insurance defense. From 2007 to 2009 Alejandro served as a hearing officer in Miami-Dade County for code enforcement. From 2012 through January 2019 Alejandro worked for Glantzlaw as an associate attorney. Alejandro has been a member of the board of director of a savings and loan, an insurance agency, a body shop, an export company, a preschool licensed for 169 children and a law firm.

Bart Valdes is the Firm's Managing Partner in the Tampa office. Bart is a Board Certified Specialist in Business Litigation by the Florida Bar. As a Board Certified Specialist, Bart is considered to be an expert in the area of business litigation. Board certification is the Florida Bar's highest level of evaluation of the competency and experience of attorneys. Bart has represented a variety of the Firm's clients including small business owners, individuals, local governments, insurance companies, medium and large corporations, as well as nation-wide institutional clients in a wide range of matters. Bart has litigated, and continues to litigate, complex trial matters related to contract disputes, property disputes, eminent domain and condemnation actions, real estate disputes, insurance matters and general business disputes. Bart also has extensive litigation experience in the areas of landlord and tenant disputes, bankruptcy, probate, trust and estate matters, foreclosure cases, corporate and partnership disputes, collections, construction matters, land use, zoning and code enforcement matters and local government disputes.

Brett J. Miller is the founding and managing Partner of DSK Law's Melbourne office. In addition to transactional business and real estate law, Brett practices complex commercial, civil, and appellate litigation with a general focus on business, construction, insurance, local government, and real estate matters. Since 2012, Brett has successfully represented developers, contractors, publicly traded companies, small business entities, local government agencies, and individuals to resolve disputes pre-suit, at mediation, through trial in both federal and state court, and on appeal. With respect to appellate matters, Brett has had the privilege of presenting oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeal.
Prior to practicing law, Brett worked in corporate sales and marketing throughout Central Florida, and he attended night classes at Stetson University where he earned a Master of Business Administration. While in law school Brett worked for the Florida House of Representatives, Appropriations Committee; University of Florida, Office of Government Relations; and Disability Rights Florida.
Cameron Frye was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in English from the University of Florida in 2009. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013. While in law school, Cameron was a member of the Corporate and Securities Litigation Moot Court team and Phi Delta Phi National Honor Society.
Prior to joining the firm, Cameron worked as litigation counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in the country. During that time, he gained considerable experience not only in all aspects of civil litigation, but also in representing insurance companies and large businesses.
Cameron joined the firm in 2016. His practice includes complex civil litigation, insurance fraud litigation, real estate and business litigation. Outside of the firm, Cameron is involved with the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division. He is a graduate of the 2014-15 Hillsborough County Bar Association Leadership Institute and actively volunteers in various other Bar and community events. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys playing golf, fishing, attending sporting events and spending time with his family.
Carol E. Chloupek is an attorney in the Firm's Orlando office assisting members of LegalShield in a variety of legal matters. Carol has been practicing law since 1989. Prior to joining the firm she has worked as an Associate with firms in Miami-Dade and Broward County. She worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Stuart Florida and operated as a sole practitioner in Miami, Florida for approximately 10 years.

Dan Mantzaris concentrates his practice in the areas of local government, land use and zoning, and general business. Since his admission to The Florida Bar in 1986, Dan has represented clients in matters related to real estate development, corporations, contracts, property rights and eminent domain, civil and commercial litigation, personal injury and casualty defense, personal injury claims, employment discrimination defense and international adoptions. He currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of St. Cloud, Florida and for the City of Clermont, Florida. Dan also serves as Code Enforcement Special Magistrate for the City of Maitland and as counsel to the Seminole County and Orange County Code Enforcement Boards, the Orange County Building Codes Board of Adjustments and Appeals, and the Orange County Nuisance Abatement Board. Additionally, he is appointed general counsel to the Florida Insurance Alliance and several private corporations. Dan has the unique opportunity to serve as co-managing partner for the firm's Legal Shield Division. In this capacity, he oversees the provision of legal services to thousands of individuals and small businesses who are insured through Pre-Paid Legal of Florida, Inc. d/b/a Legal Shield, the largest provider of legal expense insurance in North America.

Dan O'Malley was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While earning his Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was admitted to Beta Gamma Sigma, a national business school honor society. He received his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.
David H. Simmons is one of the founding partners of DSK Law Firm in Orlando, Florida. As DSK Law's financial managing partner, David is responsible for the firm's overall practice, management, and day to day operations. David Simmons was born in Nashville, Tennessee. David graduated with highest distinction from Tennessee Technological University, where he was first in his class in Mathematics and received both the R. H. Moorman Scholarship and the Mathematics Award. At Vanderbilt University, he was the recipient of the William B. Marr Scholarship. He also served as an editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and as an editor of The Vanderbilt Moot Court Board. He graduated Vanderbilt University Law School in 1977. David Simmons passed the bar exam and was admitted to legal practice in 1977.
David is board certified by The Florida Bar both as a Civil Trial Lawyer and Business Litigation Attorney and is also certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial. David presently carries on an active commercial litigation practice, trying cases and handling complex business, corporate, environmental, eminent domain, and real estate disputes. David also takes time to give back to his community and the people of the State of Florida. In 2000, David was elected to the Florida House of Representatives, representing portions of Seminole and Orange Counties until 2008. Thereafter, in 2010 David was elected to the Florida Senate, where he served for 10 years, until November 3, 2020. Deborah Glover-Pearcey is an Attorney of our firm. She was born in Augusta Georgia. Deborah Glover-Pearcey received her Bachelor's Degree from Florida A&M University in 1984, majoring in Criminal Justice. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University in 1988. Prior to coming to DSK LAW she operated a successful law firm and is a skilled trial litigator in personal injury, government law, collections and workers compensation. She is a former Adjunct Professor for Stetson Law School, former Attorney of City of St. Petersburg and City of Tampa, and Kash n' Karry Food Stores.
She has a passion for helping families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses and diseases.

Edward R. Butler III is an associate attorney of our firm. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised in Orlando, Florida. Edward received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in 2011, majoring in Business Administration. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) College of Law in 2015. Edward was the Vice President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. Eric Watson is an attorney of our firm. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Eric received his bachelor's degree from University of West Georgia in 2011, majoring in History. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida. Prior to joining DSK, Eric worked as an Assistant State Attorney from 2018 to 2021 for both the Third and Ninth Judicial Circuit. F. Olivia Whiters was born and raised In Miami, Florida. She attended and received undergraduate degrees from Miami-Dade Community College (now Miami-Dade College) and Florida International University. Afterwards, she attended University of Miami School of Law where she was a member of the Society of Bar and Gavel, ABA Student Liaison Representative, Vice President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society and Assistant Editor of the Law School Yearbook (JD '99).
Olivia spent 12 years at Miami-Dade College including Educational Support, Curriculum Development and Administrator of a Carl Perkins Grant Program providing resources to underserved and displaced communities. As a transactional /consultative attorney, she has assisted thousands of clients all over South Florida.
Felice Dizon was born in Binghampton, New York and raised in Miami, Florida. Majoring in history, she received her Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University Columbus of Law, and, as a law student, was a member of the Thurgood Marshall American Inn of Courts. She also participated in an internship with the Montgomery County State Attorney's Office in Maryland. She is a former Assistant State Attorney for Broward County, Florida, where she prosecuted misdemeanor, traffic and felony offenses.
Garrett Caggiano is an associate attorney of our firm. He was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Orlando, Florida. Garrett received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 2012, majoring in Accounting. He graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law in 2022. Garrett is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts.
Hugo de Beaubien is a Founding Partner of our firm. He was raised in Birmingham, Michigan, and Ormond Beach, Florida. After receiving an undergraduate degree in business from Florida State University in 1970, he was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University in 1973. At Stetson, Hugo served as Exchequer of Phi Delta Phi and as President of the senior class.
Hugo has been active in the Orange County Bar Association through his service as Chairman of the Criminal Law Section and Legal Forums Committee. He also served as Director of the Citizen Dispute Settlement Program, and as a mediator. He has lectured throughout the state in continuing legal education programs and served as both Secretary and board member for the Central Florida Defense Attorneys Association. He was the National Chairman of the Florida State Alumni Association and past President of the Orlando Touchdown Club. He was named one of the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1984 and was honored in Who's Who in American Law in 1996. He is an "AV" rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell.

Jason Breslin was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He received his Bachelor in Science, majoring in Finance, from Florida State University. After his receiving this degree, Jason spent six years as an officer in the United States Air Force and rose to the rank of captain. His duties included managing the budget for several multi-billion-dollar acquisition projects. After his time in the Air Force, Jason enrolled in the Florida International University College of Law. While attending the F.I.U. College of Law, Jason served as the President of the Student Bar Association. He served as a law clerk for both the Honorable Jacqueline Hogan-Scola and Honorable John Schlesinger of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Upon receiving his Juris Doctor, Jason began work in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office. As an assistant public defender, Jason was counsel in over 50 criminal jury and non-jury trials.
Jason has extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation, Insurance Defense Litigation, and Commercial Litigation. Jason is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.

Kelly Kester is an attorney in the Firm's Orlando office assisting members of LegalShield in a variety of legal matters. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in upstate New York, and Coral Springs, Florida. Kelly has been practicing law since 1992. Prior to joining the firm, Kelly has worked as an Associate with firms in Broward and Miami -Dade County. She has also served as in-house counsel for corporations.
Throughout her career Kelly has handled extensive business and corporate matters, forming legal entities, resolving major business disputes, and reviewing and drafting business agreements. She has also matters in the areas of consumer finance, landlord/tenant, contracts, and intellectual property.
Ken Hazouri was raised in Gainesville, Florida, and has lived in Orlando since 1994. He received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida, where he was a member of The Florida Law Review.
While also an experienced trial attorney, Ken is certified in Appellate Practice by The Florida Bar and has numerous reported appellate decisions establishing important precedents in Florida law. He holds the highest ranking possible from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory for legal skill and ethics (AV), has been named to Florida Trend's Legal Elite from 2011-2014 and 2016-2023, and is a 2020-2023 Super Lawyers Honoree. Kent A. Showalter III is a native Floridian, born in Sanford, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1992. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate, also with honors, at the University of Florida College of Law in 1995. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts.
Kent is a Supervising Attorney and the Administrating attorney for the LegalShield SM division of DSK Law, the North Florida provider for Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. doing business as LegalShield SM. He has been with DSK Law assisting LegalShield SM members since 2000.
Kent is a past recipient of the LegalShield SM Member's Choice Award, and he was awarded the Leadership Award by LegalShield SM in 2007, 2008, and 2012. Kent was recognized as the LegalShield SM WOW! Kevin Knight received his undergraduate degree with highest honors from the University of Central Florida. While attending law school at Stetson University, he served as Executive Editor of the Law Review and his writing was published in the Stetson Law Review. Letitia Wood was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received both her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. While in law school, Letitia served as Editor in Chief of the Law Review. During her years in practice, Letitia has served as President of the Central Florida Association for Woman Lawyers, as Chair of the Real Property Committee of the Orange County Bar Association, and as chair of a Grievance Committee of the Florida Bar. Letitia also has been involved with many community organizations, including Florida Executive Women and the Alzheimer's Resource Center, and has served as President of the Central Florida chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Lindsay Greene was born and raised in Harlem in New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida State College of Law.
Lindsay represents both employees and employers, including, local governments, small businesses, and corporations in a variety of employment and labor related matters. Lindsay has extensive experience in litigating employment law claims, including those involving race, gender, religion, disability, age, and other claims based on unlawful discrimination, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Private and Public Sector Whistle Blower claims.
Luis Felipe Gómez, Jr. was born in New York City, New York, and raised in Puerto Rico. After graduating high school in Puerto Rico, Luis attended The Ohio State University and received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Luis also has a Masters of Arts in Sociology from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. Luis then took radio-broadcasting classes on a whim and, while living in Houston, made a brief six-year career in Spanish language radio including producing his own radio talk show between 1982-1984. He had so many lawyers on his radio program that he decided he could learn the law. With the support of his father, who is also an attorney, Luis thus enrolled at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He received his Juris Doctor in May 1989 and was admitted to practice law in 1990.
Outside of the law, Luis used to sing in his church choir, and has done some radio ads promoting cancer awareness via the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa. A frustrated writer, Luis has had three short articles published in the Orlando Sentinel, two of them related to the space program which he has monitored since his youth.

Michael Curto was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and was raised primarily in Central Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts with high honors from Rollins College. He obtained his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University and his LLM from Tulane School of Law. Upon graduating, Michael became a member of the Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. As an active duty attorney and reservist, he rose to the rank of Commander. He is a former Assistant State Attorney for Orange County where he prosecuted all criminal cases. Michael practiced as a sole practitioner for years in all general law areas.

Patricio Garcia was born in Montreal, Canada and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He received his Bachelor in Political Science, from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
He then went on to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate from St. May's University School of Law at San Antonio, Texas. In addition, he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade and Commercial Law from El InstitutoTecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), at Monterrey, Mexico.
Patricio's unique multicultural upbringing has led him to devote his practice primarily to all aspects of Immigration and Nationality law. Patricio is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with a solid comprehension of French.

Ray Hernandez was born in Paterson, New Jersey and later relocated to Tampa, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and an Associate of Arts in Political Sciences from the University of South Florida. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School, Des Moines, IA. As a law student, he became a member of the Drake Law Review and President of C.E.L.A.D., the Hispanic law student organization. Upon graduation, Raymond joined a sole practitioner in Tampa and practiced in the area of personal injury law. Raymond later established his own solo practice in personal injury and family law.

Ruben Laboy was born in New York City, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 1980 and his Master's Degree from Michigan State University in 1982. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate at Rutgers University School of Law in 1993. While a law student, Ruben served as Class Representative of the Student Bar Association in 1992 and interned for the Rutgers Legal Aid Clinic, Rutgers Constitutional Law Clinic and the Rutgers Urban Legal Clinic. Ryan H. Wisneski is a Partner in the Firm's Orlando office. Ryan was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida and received his Bachelor of Science from the Florida State University, double majoring in both Economics and English Literature. While attending FSU, Ryan served as the vice-president and treasurer of the Pre-Law Society.
Ryan received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC. While in law school, Ryan was the treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, received an award for his pro bono service as a 1L, and a Cali Excellence for the Future Award for his performance in Advanced Trial Practice. Ryan also clerked with the Winston Law Group, a general litigation firm; Sanders Law Firm, now Hendrick, Bryant, Nerhood, Sanders & Otis, focusing on business and real estate issues; and Peterson Bernard, a Florida based litigation firm.
Stephanie Melia was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science from Florida State University, majoring in Communications and Political Science. While attending Florida State University, she was the Chairperson for the Liberal Studies Honors Program and represented the student population on several faculty search committees. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University School of Law, and, as a law student, was a member of student government, The Environmental Lawyer and the Law Revue Troupe. Upon graduating, Stephanie practiced in Miami in civil matters before moving to Orlando to handle dependency and termination of parental rights cases for the Department of Children and Families.
Stephanie is actively involved in the Guardian Ad Litem program through the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar. While working at DSK Law, Stephanie has twice won LegalShield's Members' Choice award.
Stephen Fleming is an associate of our firm. He was born in Orlando, Florida. Stephen received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 2016, majoring in Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019. Stephen is a member of The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association. Stephen is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts.

Tami L. Nicholls is an Associate Attorney with our firm. Ms. Nicholls was born in Melbourne, Florida. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida A&M College of Law and was admitted to the Florida and District of Columbia bar in 2010.
Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Nicholls was an entrepreneur, who owned and operated a solo legal practice along with several other businesses in her local community. She has been a driving force in her community not only in business but also in volunteer and charity work. Ms. Nicholls has organized and thrown various charity events along with being a proud member of many local animal rescues.

Tamiko L. Sampson is an Attorney with the LegalShield Division. Tamiko was born and raised in Northern Florida. Tamiko began her legal career with the Department of Children and Families Child Legal Services in Panama City, Florida before transferring to Tallahassee, Florida. In 2010, Tamiko opened her private practice in Tallahassee, Florida where she has served clients of North, Central and Southern Florida for the past twelve years. Her practice areas include: Personal Injury, Probate and Guardianship, Family Law and General Civil Litigation. Tamiko also has served as an adjunct instructor for ITT Technical Institute in Tallahassee, Florida. In her leisure time, Tamiko enjoys spending time with her family, the elderly, volunteering, serving with her local church, and travelling.

Tom Neal is a native Floridian who was born and raised in Orlando. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1982. As an undergraduate, he played football for the legendary Coach Bo Schembechler and participated in two Rose Bowls, the Gator Bowl, and the Blue Bonnet Bowl. Tom graduated from the University of Florida's College of Law in 1985. He holds the highest ranking an individual attorney can receive (AV - Preeminent) as designated by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
He has litigated numerous matters including complex commercial and construction cases; eminent domain cases; insurance defense and personal injury claims; employment, civil rights and discrimination claims; real estate contracts; corporate disputes; and many other civil matters. He has tried jury and non-jury trials in state and federal court and has extensive discovery and pre-trial experience.
Tom is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar and was named to Florida Trend's Legal Elite for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Edgewater High School Foundation and is a past member of the Board of Directors of Lakeside Alternatives, Inc., and served as a member of the Government Relations Committee and the Personnel Committee for that organization. He is a past president of the Orlando Touchdown Club. Tom has lectured on various civil litigation matters during his professional career and also served as a mediator for the Orange County Bar Association's Citizen's Dispute Settlement Program.
