Aaron brings a strong blend of personal attention, experience and an analytical approach to the client experience. The wisdom and maturity Aaron has built as a Financial and Wealth Advisor assisting individuals plan for their long term financial security assists Edge Insurance Group clients implement and manage high performing employee benefit programs as well as providing guidance to individuals who are making the transition from pre-Medicare to Medicare coverage options.
Aaron's primary focus is working with Edge Insurance Group clients with under fifty employees and assisting individuals evaluate their coverage options as they transition to their Medicare eligibility years. As a member of the Edge Insurance Group team Aaron has access to all the major insurance companies which will allow him to package the different insurance companies and the product option's they offer to build a plan for you.
Aaron resides in South Haven with his wife Stacy and daughters Jenna and Tara. Aaron has many hobbies and activities outside of work that include golf and cars, but most of all spending time with his family.
Amie is the proud mother of her daughter Kelbie. Amie lives in the mid-Michigan area with her husband Gary and enjoys sewing alterations to bridal gowns and bridal party dresses, camping with family, kayaking and attending any motor sport event.
Bob Heintz is an employee benefits professional helping employers design and manage all aspects of their group benefit programs. Prior to co-founding Edge Insurance Group, Bob led the state of Michigan's largest privately held independent employee benefits agency. In 2014 Bob decided to leave the large agency environment to get back to working hand-in-hand with clients to overcome the challenges in offering a cost effective, competitive employee benefits package. His experience ranges in working with employers with single locations and two employees to multi-state employers with over fourteen hundred employees.
Bob is an active member in the group insurance professional association, the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP) where he has held several leadership positions in the past. When not at work helping clients, Bob spends time with his wife of 25 years, Kris and three children Brendan, Zach and Regan.
Edge Insurance Group welcomed Brendan back as an Account Executive in 2021 after a two year hiatus due to a move to Canada. Brendan brings a sense of enthusiasm and energy while working with clients and prospective clients alike. In his role Brendan assists groups in navigating the plan design, funding, plan selection and implementation process.
Brendan has learned to take the experiences he gained while playing competitive college sports to the business world in helping employers get the most benefit for the allowed budget.
Brendan is active outside of work playing golf, enjoying time at the family cottage and spending time with his two children Bowan and Kenley.

Robert brings a strong combination of group benefits underwriting experience, plan utilization analytics and stop loss knowledge to the Edge Insurance Group team. In his role as Director of Underwriting and Analytics Robert is responsible for all of the customized financial reporting packages produced for Edge Insurance Group clients. In addition, Robert will continually analyze plan utilization and claims trends to help clients minimize plan cost increases through thoughtful plan design management and implementation of sound benefit strategies. All the while, monitoring the plan to gauge actual results versus the targeted outcome.
In addition to his plan performance and renewal underwriting responsibilities, Robert assists clients and internal Edge Insurance Group Account Managers with annual ACA Reporting, plan benchmarking and stop loss claim review and coordination.
As a veteran in the group insurance business, Marianne provides Edge Insurance Group clients vast experience to draw from in making their employee benefit program run smoothly. Having served clients in a claims processing role during her time at an independent third party administrator to managing customer service for clients of a large Michigan based trade association, Marianne brings a caring, thoughtful approach in using the experience she has gained to working with clients and their employees.
As an Account Manager at Edge Insurance Group, Marianne embraces her responsibility to clients and their employees to deliver comprehensive, thorough, and timely support. Marianne is instrumental in new plan implementation and the annual renewal process for clients as well as the primary day-to-day contact for claims, eligibility, and billing problem resolution.
Marianne lives in the Lansing area and, when away from the office, she enjoys family time with her husband, Chuck, their daughter, Elizabeth (Scott), and granddaughter, Emmalee.
Regan started her insurance career early working part time for Edge Insurance Group while earning her degree in Business Administration and playing soccer for Davenport University. After graduation, Regan elected to stay in the family business and join Edge Insurance Group as a full time Account Manager. In her role, Regan is a dedicated Account Manager to help support the Edge Insurance Group client base. While working under mentorship from several of the seasoned Edge Insurance Group Account Managers, Regan helps her clients work through the implementation process of new plans, the day-to-day service support with claims, coverage, or billing questions, the annual renewal process and supporting communication of the benefits during the annual open enrollment period.
While Regan is not at work helping clients, she loves to play golf, hang with her cat named Kurt, and spend time with family at the cottage.
Ryan joined Edge Insurance Group in 2018 after many years spent in the insurance and financial services industry. Ryan brings years of working knowledge and experience in working with public sector employees in managing their retirement plans during his time as an independent agent in the employee benefits sector.
While Ryan works with a select group of employers in helping manage their group benefit plans, Ryan is one of the ‘go to' agents internally at Edge Insurance Group to help individuals understand the timing and their options during their transition to Medicare or other individual coverages, such as medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.
Ryan and his two children, Ryan Jr and Casey call the mid-Michigan community of DeWitt home. Ryan's free time is spent watching his children's many sporting interests, fishing and the occasional game of golf.
Shelly's passion is leading the team in client service and compliance. She has brought that passion to Edge Insurance Group as a co-founder of the agency in 2014. With over 30 years of industry experience ranging from claims processing, customer service, contract review, group sales and service and eligibility plan management in all lines of coverage, Shelly is an invaluable asset and resource for Edge Insurance Group and our clients.
Shelly has embraced being the leader internally for ACA compliance and strategy development with clients. Shelly is a recognized leader in this area having developed the materials and conducted an employer educational series in conjunction with Davenport University in 2013 and 2014 on the ACA and what employers need to prepare for.
Shelly's free time is spent with her husband, Scott of over 30 years, her children and grandchildren at their family cottage in Northern Michigan. Shelly enjoys playing sports especially volleyball, tennis and golf!
Sydney started her insurance career working part time and earning her double major in Accounting and Business Management from Grand Valley State University. After graduation, Sydney joined the Edge Insurance Group Account Management team to put the real life skills she learned, along with the degree's she earned to help support Edge Insurance Group clients. Syd helps her clients work through the implementation process of new plans, the day-to-day services support with claims, coverage, or billing questions, the annual renewal process, and supporting communication of the benefits during the annual open enrollment period.
Outside of her role at Edge Insurance Group, Sydney is passionate about staying active while playing on the Edge Insurance Group volleyball team and routinely beating her mom (Shelly) at a game of pickleball. Syd also enjoys spending time at her family cottage.
