John-Michael's experience with self defense training began at a very young age, beginning a life of training in several martial arts disciplines. From Taekwondo to wrestling (folkstyle, freestyle, and greco roman) and several disciplines of Jiu Jitsu, martial arts became a life long habit.
At 22 he became an NRA certified instructor and began a career in security as well as teaching professionals and the public life saving self defense skills in several disciplines. He is now the owner of G2 Security Solutions, Inc, a state licensed security agency and training school, the president and founder of Security Officer's Brotherhood,a nonprofit organization dedicated to the improvement of the security profession, and a board member with Texas Carry, an organization that was integral to the passing of open carry in Texas.
