HOLLAND LODGE

The Lodge and the teachings of Freemasonry enables good men to develop individually, socially, and spiritually at the same time. Our work is noticed in the actions and behavior of our members, and in the contributions to our communities. We believe in the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God and are to act by the Principles of Freemasonry... Faith, Hope, and Charity are paramount in Masonry. This fall, we have a Clothes Drive to help raise money and clothing for the less-fortunate and we will have a Food Drive in Spring to help replenish the Food Bank after the holiday season. Further, we will open our lodge to the public for many events, such as the Veteran's Appreciation Night, First Responder's Appreciation Event, Community Builder Award, and Open House Event... We were founded in 1835 and are the oldest masonic lodge in Texas. Among several notable members, we had Sam Houston who got Texas independent from Mexico, Anson Jones who was the last president of the Republic..
