HEART OF MONTANA FARM IN THE DELL

If you're new to the farm, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to provide a lifelong home in an agricultural setting for adults with developmental disabilities... Nestled in the heart of Montana on the outskirts of Lewistown along Big Spring Creek lies a big red barn, some outbuildings & 156 acres of prime farmland. It was originally established as the County Poor Farm in 1890. Since its closing in 1965, the farm had been leased to private individuals & left somewhat neglected. That is until like-minded community members joined forces & set their sights on this location to turn a once forgotten piece of land into a forever home for developmentally disabled individuals to live & work on... All of these improvements & additions were made possible by public & private donations, grants, & fundraisers. We are currently working to raise funds to construct a home for our future farmers & are so thankful for every contribution that will benefit it!
