Our community is located on an island where the Dehcho (Mackenzie River) and the Nácháh Dehé (Liard River) meet... Today, we have a wide range of programs in place to support our membership. People of the community of Łı́ı́dlı̨ı̨ Kų́ę́ (Fort Simpson), "the place where the rivers come together", in the Dehcho Region of Canada's Northwest Territories. We are proud members of the Dehcho First Nations and the Dehcho Process, negotiations over land and governance that has been going on between the Dehcho First Nations and the Canadian government since the 1990s.
