Lewo group has been in the leather industry since 1980. The group has always specialized in Buffalo and Cow hides. The group has been established by Mr Anil Kumar Sondhi; who has graduated as a Leather Technologist from Anna University, Chennai. The group started with the company Leather Worldwide; which specialized as a consultancy for many European companies procuring from Indian tanneries. At this time Leather Worldwide also help setup the export facilities for tanneries in North India. Leather Worldwide had started as a small-scale proprietorship; today Lewo Group consists of a large pool of professional, skilled and semi-skilled employees.
