Bai Hua

Bai Hua, was born in January, 1956 in Chongqing. Now, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Chinese Department in School of Humanities, SWJTU. Various collection of poems and academic writings by him were published, such as the People Looking at Clouds (Tangshan Publishing House, Taiwan), Zuo Bian-lyric Poet of Mao Zedong's Era (Oxford: Oxford University Press and Jiangsu Literature and Arts Publishing House). His recently published works include English poetry Wind Says (Zephyr Press and Chinese University of Hong Kong Press), In Qing Dynasty (French poetry)( French Language Press, 2016), Autumn Changes and Spring Music (poetry)(East China Normal University Press, 2016), Only the Old Days Bring Us Happiness (poetry) (Jiangsu Fenghuang Literature and Art Publishing House, 2017), Red Wax Light (essays) (Guangxi Normal University Press, 2017).

Hu Hong

Hu Hong is a Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, currently Vice President of School of Humanities, and she is chiefly specialized in Ethnomusicology Theory and Chinese Traditional Music Research. Director of Sichuan Piano Institute; Communication Evaluation Expert of dissertations in Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of Ministry of Education; Admissions Judge of art (music) majors in colleges and universities in Sichuan Province; Assessment Expert of Guangzhou Education Assessment and Teacher Continuing Education Guidance Center; Evaluation Expert of Undergraduate Courses at Southwest Jiaotong University; she went to Minzu University of China and George Mason University in the United States for academic exchanges and visits in 2008 and 2015 as a visiting scholar and obtained a certificate of visiting scholar. In recent years, she has published 1 academic monograph; 2 teaching materials for music majors; 2 music collections; 1 collection of papers (Deputy Editor); published more than ten papers in Art of Music: Journal of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (2004), Symphony: Journal of Xi'an Conservatory of Music (2011, 2013, 2017), Music Creation: Chinese Musicians Association (2013), Sichuan Drama (2009, 2010), Grand Stage (2013) and other authoritative core journals, CSSCI journals and core journals of music; read papers many times at international and domestic academic conferences; presided over 2 provincial-level projects in Southwest Music Research Center, Sichuan Key Research Base of Social Sciences and Sichuan Multicultural Research Center, Sichuan Key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Sciences; chiefly studied 6 provincial-level projects such as Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Fund Project of Ministry of Education, Folk Culture Research Center Project of Sichuan Key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and Education Reform Project of the Education Department of Sichuan Province, as well as multiple school-level education reform projects. In 2011, as a class tutor, she was awarded with the title of "School-level Excellent Instructor of Internship Team"; 2012: won the title of "School-level Excellent Instructor of the Sixth SRTP Research and Training for College Students; In 2015 & 2017, she won the first prize of the School of Humanities in the Young Teachers Lecture Competition of Southwest Jiaotong University twice; besides, she was awarded the title of "Outstanding Party Member" at school level and college level for many times, and has been rated as "outstanding" in the annual assessment and post-employment assessment of the college and department for many times.

Huang Mei

Huang Mei is Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, Member of China Musicians Association, Director of Sichuan Piano Institute, Piano Art Performance and Theoretical Direction; she graduated from Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 1991; during teaching, she served as a soloist and accompanist for many large-scale performances and possesses a wealth of practical experience on stage; the piano majors trained by her have received awards in professional competitions at all levels; she participated in the compilation of National Music Teaching Material for Colleges and Universities - Piano, which was distributed nationwide by Southwest China Normal University Press; in 2011, she presided over the science and technology innovation project of the institutions of higher-learning affiliated with central departments entitled "Double Piano Performance as Well as Its Practice", and published papers in core art journals such as Explorations in Music and Art Education for many times.

Liu Rui

Liu Rui, Associate Professor, has a Master's degree. She is a member of the Sichuan Musicians Association and the Deputy Secretary-General of Guzheng Professional Committee of Chengdu Concert Artists Association. She is a teacher of Guzheng in the Department of Music, College of Humanities, Southwest Jiaotong University. She is the conductor of Jinsei Chinese Orchestra of Southwest Jiaotong University, instructor of Lingxiu Zheng Troupe, instructor of Yinyan Zheng Troupe. She is an examiner of the social art level examination of the China Music Association, an examiner of the social art level examination of Sichuan Province, and a judge of the expert pool of the national plucking group of the Chengdu City Art Talent Competition. She graduated from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music with a degree in Chinese instrumental music (guzheng performance) and studied with the famous guzheng educator Professor Li Ke. She was invited by the French Ministry of Culture to participate in the "Multiplicity of Musical Improvisation Project", to perform in many concerts and exchange activities in Paris, and to participate in the "China Festival" organized by the Confucius Institute of Karlstad University in Sweden. Mei Hong

Mei Hong is a professor of Communication Department and master's supervisor. She visited University of Westminster as a visiting scholar during 2011-2012, and worked as a post doctor in Institute of Taoism and Religious Culture in Sichuan University in 2010-2013. She is a board member of Editorial and Publishing Research Committee of Journalism History Society, communication evaluation expert of China Academic Degrees Graduate Education Development Center. She has taken in charge of 1 national projects and 8 provincial ones, and particpated in 2 national projects and 3 provincial ones; published 12 monographs and over 30 academic papers which were mostly published in CSSCI and Chinese core journals, and many of them were forwarded by People University's printed materials. Her paper once won the 3rd Excellent Award of China Published Papers. Mei Hong once conducted academic exchanges in many countries and regions, namely, England, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, etc. She instructed 7 SRTP projects, 2 of which won provincial excellence and 1 won college excellence. One of her two education reform projects was evaluated as college excellence. Her research orientation is new media, editing and publishing, and culture and communication.

Wu Yi

Xiao Ping

Xiao Ping, is an ethics professor in Philosophy and History Research Institue of Shool of Humanities. She is also a doctoral supervisor. Her research orientation is applied ethics and characteristic study: engineering ethics. She was appointed as executive member of National Ethics Society, executive member of Sub-society of National ethnical ethics. She is honored as the reserve candidate for Science and Technology leaders of Sichuan Province, expert of excellence with outstanding contribution of Sichuan Province, and member of expert review committee (201405). Since 1993, Xiao Ping has hosted 3 projects of National Social Science Fund and participated in another 3; she also hosted 2 Sichuan provincial philosophy and social science research projects and participated in 3 education reform research projects funded by provincial ministries. More than 10 monographs and textbooks by her were published; over 60 essays were written. She won 1 second award and 3 tird award issued by provincial government. There is 1 ongoing National Social Science Fund: moral life history of Qiang People.
