Mr. Akib Kamal is the Director of Meridian Group. He oversees the operation and growth of Meridian Foods, besides formulating the business strategies and technology of other sister concerns which includes Meridian Agro & Fisheries and Novotel Chittagong. He attended renowned institutions like Mayo College (India), United World Colleges (UK) and IE Business School (Spain). After living 15 years abroad, he moved back to Bangladesh in 2018. Since his teenage, Mr. Kamal has been involved with Meridian and currently setting future milestones for the achievement of company objectives, its mission and vision. Mr. Kamal is associated with various organizations including Alumni Committee Member of United World College- Bangladesh, Lifetime Member of LEO (Lions International), Junior Chamber of Commerce and other social developmental organizations. Mr. Kamal is the pioneer from the family who involved himself in the development of the group and introduced innovation and advanced technologies as core pillars for growth and progress of Meridian Group. While not at work he enjoys travelling, trekking and exploring folk music. He is also an artist, a certified life guard and a scuba diver.
Mr. Saif Kamal is the Deputy Managing Director of Meridian Group. He looks after the hotel development business unit which is building the international brand Novotel in Chittagong. He is responsible for the strategy and growth of the group's business activities. Mr. Saif has had an illustrious global career across various industries in Advertising, Knowledge Management & Leadership and Media. He has worked at Ogilvy & Mathers, Heidrick & Struggles, Economist Intelligence Unit. He was a founding member of Dhaka Tribune. Mr. Saif is a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, Cordes Fellow and a US State Department IVLP Alumni. He is the founder of British High Commission's Young Leaders Bangladesh initiative. He is an avid reader, enjoys yoga and writes opinions in local and global publications.
Mr. Syed Mostofa Kamal Pasha is a self made man who belongs to a respectable family and has become a business icon in Bangladesh. He has established Meridian Group. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Meridian Group. The concepts of making a group was a challenge for him. But the ultimate goal and business values were at the core of his heart. The dream has come true for his tactful business mentality.
Mrs. Kohinoor Kamal is the Chairperson of Meridian Group. She is also a co-founder of Meridian Group. The venture of this company started with her skillful hand just possible for the integrity, dedication and honesty. The nature of our business and business ethics have been making this group into one of the best market oriented company in Bangladesh.
