The Mini-American Summer School is in the planning stages for its "15 th Anniversary" summer season. The summer school will be held from Monday, June 25th, 2018 through Friday, July 6th, 2018, in Koltsovo, Siberia/Russia, a suburb of the capital of Siberia, Novosibirsk. The summer school for Russian students going into grades two through eleven is designed to enhance their English language interactive skills. Native English speaking educators and other professionals who volunteer their time for the two weeks of summer school staff the school. The Mini American Summer School team members pay for their airfare & Visa to and from Russia with their room, board, and cultural excursions during the summer school provided by the local summer school sponsors. The local summer school sponsors also pays a portion of an optional post summer school excursion next summer to Moscow & the Lake Baykal Region from July 9th to July 13 th, 2018.
