Danial Sajid

Danial joined MMBA in 2020 on a part-time basis and has now been with the firm for 1-year full time. Danial has studied at the University of Hertfordshire and graduated with a First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance. Danial is part ACCA qualified with 9/13 exams completed. He is responsible for preparing financial accounts, finalisation of VAT returns, and tax compliance for a variety of sole traders and limited companies. In his spare time, he enjoys analysing different markets and constantly gaining knowledge outside the accounting world. Danial is also active and competitive, regularly playing 5-a-side football.

Kamran Inayat

Kamran Inayat is an ACCA member who is responsible for accounting and tax compliance within the firm. He is experienced in working closely with individual and corporate clients to provide high quality, accurate management, and statutory accounts. He ensures that the clients are paying the correct personal & corporation tax by utilising all his research based ideas and knowledge. Kamran is experienced in managing clients in various sectors including, healthcare, law firms, car dealers, insurance brokers, contractors, travel companies and many more. Having had broad experience across accounting and tax services he provides friendly and professional point of contact for clients.

Lauren Ives

Lauren joined MMBA in 2018 and has 3 years' practice experience. Lauren is level 3 AAT qualified and is currently working towards her ACCA qualification. She has a 2.1 BSc in Applied Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University. Lauren is responsible for accounting and tax compliance within the firm and enjoys working on challenging assignments. She prides in providing proactive friendly advice to her clients. In her spare time, she loves to read, crochet, exercise, and play animal crossing.

Mirza Sonaver Baig

Mirza Sonaver Baig, an FCCA-qualified professional holding a Master's in Financial Management from Liverpool John Moores University, currently serves as a director within the company. With a decade of experience, he is a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant specialising in delivering tailored accountancy services through private practice. Known for his exceptional organisational skills, he proactively ensures the provision of timely, efficient, and accurate financial information. Mirza oversees a diverse range of business advisory, taxation, and accounting assignments spanning various sectors. His expertise extends to guiding personal and corporate clients through HMRC compliance reviews. Additionally, he manages staff, optimises workflow, and ensures practice compliance. Muhammad Harris, joined MMBA in November 2016. He has a BSc in Business Management from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Currently, Harris is studying for ACCA qualification and is already part qualified. He is popular with clients due to his friendly and approachable personality. Frequently going above and beyond to assist them with their business accounts. On a daily basis Harris efficiently deals with the accounts, VAT and payroll for a variety of sole traders and limited companies. Besides work he is married with one son. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, watching tennis and cricket. He has a keen interest in landscape photography.

Tony Cullen

Tony started working for HM Customs & Excise in 1993 originally in the registration, deregistration, and debt management units before being promoted to VAT visiting officer in 1999 when he undertook full VAT training. He was promoted to Higher Officer grade in 2003 and continued to work for the department when it became part of HMRC in 2005. He remained there until the Blackburn Office closed in 2018. In that time he was involved in many different aspects of VAT. He spent many years carrying out VAT Audits and is vastly experienced at identifying errors and problems. He is familiar with most VAT systems and has worked on penalties, voluntary disclosures, and appeals as well as being heavily involved in task force work. He has also spent time on specialist investigations and was the single point of contact for VAT for tax avoidance in the film industry. He spent many years training recruits, many of who have progressed to senior positions within HMRC and has also been an interviewer for potential new staff. He has experience in most types of business and has worked in many complex cases and checked businesses are operating schemes correctly such as second-hand cars, retail, flat rate, and partial exemption.

Waqqas Memon

Waqqas Memon, BSc, FCCA, joined MMBA in 2017 and has nine years of post-qualification experience with seven years being with 'top 10‘ accountancy firms. He is an expert in auditing, financial reporting, and crypto taxation and has experience in attending audit committee meetings to discuss audit findings with his clients. He has significant experience in working with listed and large owner-managed businesses in the property, medical, pharmaceutical, travel, and service industries. Waqqas has most recently been working with a number of cryptocurrency investors and traders and helping them navigate the tricky taxation rules. He is the go-to person within the firm in understanding how cryptocurrency, NFTs, and other digital assets operate and are taxed. He is also highly experienced in helping clients transition to new accounting standards and implements strategies to support legislative and taxation changes. His ad-hoc consultancy projects, including helping clients to improve and upgrade their accounting software, with some leading to automation implementation. In his spare time, Waqqas likes to read and volunteer for various charitable causes. He has also been an active playing member of the Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club for the last ten years, skippering various sides during his time.
