Dennis M. Reddington

Dennis M. Reddington has over 25 years' experience performing actuarial and administrative services for pension plans and qualified retirement plans. He worked for HPLS, The Weiss Organization, Administrative Management Group, and Buck Consultants before founding Pension Advisory Group, Ltd. with Steve Johnson in 1999. Dennis prepares or supervises all the actuarial, proposal and design work for the defined benefit and cash balance plans Pension Advisory Group, Ltd. handles. Dennis is an enrolled actuary, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (MSPA).

Jonathan Mays

Jonathan has experience across all aspects of the Financial Services Industry since beginning his career in 2010. He started as an auditor and tax preparer in public accounting in which retirement plans were one of his specialties. After gaining experience in the public accounting realm he focused on Retirement Plan Administration for a Trust & Investment Group where his responsibilities included education, consulting, wealth management, DC plan design, and compliance for DC plans. Since joining Pension Advisory Group Ltd. in 2017, Jonathan helps plan sponsors maintain compliance for qualified retirement plans such as defined contribution, cash balance, and defined benefit.

Shane N. Johnson

Shane has a managerial background and promotes our hardworking environment. His responsibilities include tax form preparation, Required Minimum Distribution calculations, Non-discrimination Testing, Benefit Calculations, Annual Report preparation, research projects, and plan compliance. Shane assists companies with Cross-tested, Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Cash Balance plans. Shane is resourceful pertaining to retirement plan fundamentals.

Steven J. Johnson

Steve Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). Steve has been in the retirement plan field since 1988 when he started at the IRS as a retirement plan auditor and plan document reviewer. Since then, he worked as a retirement plan consultant providing administrative and actuarial services for small, defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans starting at Hessel & Associates and continuing at Administrative Management Group, Inc. Since 1999, Steve has been a co-owner of Pension Advisory Group, Ltd. in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
