Amy L. Kratchman is the Family Consultant and LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) Family Collaboration Director at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She provides the family's voice to clinicians and researchers on numerous projects, drawing on her role as the mother of three children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Stapleton is the Ford/Morgan Endowed Chair and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics and Associate Dean at the University of Washington School of Medicine, as well as the Chief Academic Officer and Senior Vice President at Seattle Children's.
Dr. Stapleton received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kansas. In 1979, Dr. Stapleton joined the faculty at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee. While at the University of Tennessee, he founded a pediatric General Clinical Research Center and served as its Director of Research at the LeBonheur Children's Hospital. From 1989-1995, Dr. Stapleton served as the A. Conger Goodyear Chair of the Department of Pediatrics as well as the Pediatrician-in-Chief and Medical Director for the Children's Hospital of Buffalo. He has over 250 scientific publications.
Dr. Stapleton has served as President of the American Pediatric Society and President of the Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs. He chairs the Data Safety Monitoring Board for the National Study of Kidney Disease in Children for the National Institutes of Health (NIDDK). He also has served as Secretary-Treasurer and President of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology; Assistant Secretary-General and Treasurer of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association; President of the Southern Society for Pediatric Research; and Chairman of the Sub-Board of Pediatric Nephrology of the American Board of Pediatrics. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of NEJM Journal Watch Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and is Co-Editor-in-Chief of UptoDate, Pediatrics. He has been honored with the Distinguished Medical Alumnus by the University of Kansas, American Society of Pediatric Nephrology Founder's Award and the Ira Greifer MD award for lifetime contributions to the International Pediatric Nephrology Association.

Dr. Forrest is Professor of Pediatrics and Health Care Management at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Director of the CHOP Center for Applied Clinical Research, which is devoted to advancing multi-institutional clinical and health services research in routine pediatric healthcare settings. Forrest serves as the Principal Investigator of PEDSnet, a national consortium of children's hospitals that conducts patient-centered outcomes research among children and youth. He is the Chair of the Research Committee for PCORnet, the national clinical research network funded by PCORI. He also chairs the Steering Committee for the NIH program called PEPR, which evaluates patient-reported outcome measures for children with chronic conditions. Dr. Forrest received his BA and MD degrees from Boston University and completed his PhD in Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

Daksha Ranade MPH, MBA is a Senior Data Analyst in the in the Research Informatics Department at Seattle Children's. Derek Streat is an accomplished healthcare and technology executive having co-founded and/or been at the earliest stages of five venture-backed companies, four of which he led as CEO and one grown from virtually nothing into a $100 million business. He is currently Co-Founder and CEO of C-SATS, a developer of technologies that enable healthcare organizations to achieve better outcomes by ensuring their practitioners use great technique and adhere to proper protocols. Prior to C-SATS, Derek co-founded Medify, an online medical research service that rapidly became used by 1 in 10 doctors each month. Medify was acquired by Alliance Health Networks where he served as SVP Corporate Development & Strategy. Derek currently serves on the Board of PEDSnet, a PCORI-funded consortium of eight leading pediatric hospitals working together to build the first real-time, comprehensive dataset about children with serious illness. Prior to his work in healthcare, Derek co-founded a venture-backed online advertising company, Adready (acquired by CPXi), and he was a member of the initial executive team at Classmates Online. Dr. Diekema has served as the Chair of the Institutional Review Board at Seattle Children's Hospital since 2000. He is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine with adjunct appointments in the Departments of Bioethics & Humanities and Internal Medicine in the School of Medicine and the Department of Health Services in the School of Public Health. He is also an attending physician in the emergency department at Seattle Children's Hospital and serves as Director of Education for the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Seattle Children's Hospital. He has been a member of the Seattle Children's Hospital ethics committee since 1991, has served as an ethics consultant since 1993, and founded the Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Seattle Children's in 2004. He is past-Chair of the Committee on Bioethics of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the Ethics Committee of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Diekema the author of numerous scholarly publications in medical ethics and pediatric emergency medicine and an editor of the newly released Clinical Ethics in Pediatrics: A Case-based Textbook. Peter Margolis, MD, PhD, is the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center Site Principal investigator for PEDSnet. He is a Professor of Pediatrics and Co-Director of the James M. Anderson Center for Health System Excellence at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. His work encompasses the application and study of quality improvement methods in a broad range of areas including primary and sub-specialty care, communities and public health settings to improve the health outcomes of children, families and communities. He is principal investigator of an National Institutes of Health Roadmap transformative research grant on redesigning systems for chronic illness care, several AHRQ and PCORI grants aimed at developing learning health systems, and the ImproveCareNow Network. In addition, Dr. Margolis chairs the PCORnet Council. PCORnet is a $300 million initiative of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Its goal is to improve the nation's capacity and efficiency in conducting comparative effectiveness research - research that helps determine what works best for patients with specific conditions.
