Piedmont was formed in late 2008 out of the ashes of the real estate downturn, as a need for diversifying a land development company's service lines, and to engage public and private-sector clients in the land development business. We have grown from two to seven employees - just the right size to provide personal service to our valuable clients... Piedmont's principals are Ed Wormald, PE, and Mike Wiley, PE, Prof LS. With the staff of seven employees, Piedmont is licensed to practice engineering and land surveying in the States of Maryland and West Virginia, and the Commonwealth's of Virginia and Pennsylvania. With our affiliates, we can also provide landscape architecture and forest resource services in Maryland. We have the ability to handle the small single-lot development projects to complex mixed-use developments over 1,000 units...
