Barbara Resch

Barbara Resch joined the company Agfa in September 1991 and after completing her training in communication electronics in February 1995 she was employed there as a laser printer technician until the end of 2000. Since 2001, she has worked in various roles for IG Metall. After positions as a trade union secretary at IG Metall Weilheim (2001 to 2010) and IG Metall Schweinfurt (2010 to 2014), Ms. Resch was appointed as the second authorized representative of IG Metall Schweinfurt in August 2014. In May 2016, she took on collective bargaining coordination at IG Metall Bavaria, before becoming secretary for collective bargaining at IG Metall Baden-Württemberg in November 2018.

Dr. Klaus Draeger

Biography Dr. Klaus Draeger was born on September 3, 1956, in Konstanz. Following his high school graduation in 1975, he studied mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) from 1975 to 1981, graduating as a certified engineer. In 1985, he received his doctorate there. He started his career at the BMW Group in 1985 as a trainee in production. Other milestones included Quality Assurance (1987 to 1991), as well as leadership functions in the Procurement Engineering for Drives, Chassis, and Motor Sports (1991 to 1993), Special Model Procurement (1993-1995), and Technical Procurement for BMW South Africa (1996-1999). Upon his return to Germany, he assumed leadership of Interior Bodywork Procurement in 2000. In 2002, he was put in charge of Bodywork Development; in 2004 he took over the Large Model Series unit. He joined the Executive Board of BMW AG in 2006. Until 2012, he was responsible for the Development sub-department. Starting in 2012, he was in charge of the Procurement and Supplier Network executive department. Upon reaching the age limit, Dr. Klaus Draeger left the Executive Board of BMW AG at the end of September 2016.

Biography Reinhard Müller joined what was then Thyssen Henschel GmbH in September 1978 and successfully completed his apprenticeship as a skilled machine fitter in January 1982. 1997 brought his first appointment to the Works Council of Henschel Wehrtechnik GmbH, which was founded in 1996 and was the predecessor of Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH, founded in 2000. Mr. Müller has been the full-time Chairman of the Works Council of this company since 2010. That same year, he was elected as a member of the Works Council of the Defence sector of Rheinmetall AG and a member of the Group Works Council of Rheinmetall AG. He became a member of the European Works Council of Rheinmetall AG in 2014 and was appointed Chairman of this body in 2017. Reinhard Müller has been a member of IG Metall since 1978, and since 2010, he has been a member of the defense technology working group at IG Metall.

Biography After his apprenticeship as a plumber, Mr Küplemez began his professional career in production at Pierburg GmbH in 1992. After a few years, he moved to the prototyping / toolmaking department and in 2006 to the logistics department at Pierburg GmbH in Neuss. In 1994, Mr Küplemez was elected to the Works Council of Pierburg GmbH and was released from his contractual duties in 2010 to fully focus on work for the Works Council. In 2014, he was elected Deputy Chair and in 2018 he took over as Chair of the Works Council of Pierburg GmbH at the Neuss location. In addition, Mr Küplemez is Chair of the General Works Council of Pierburg GmbH and a member of the Group Works Council of Rheinmetall AG.

Ralf Bolm

Ralf Bolm is not a member of any other statutory supervisory boards or comparable domestic or foreign supervisory committees of commercial enterprises. Biography Ralf Bolm began his career in production at the Trittau location in 1986. Other professional positions he has held in the Defence sector of the Rheinmetall Group include the areas of waste disposal and site maintenance, which he most recently headed up as team leader before being released from his duties in 2006 to act as Chairman of the Works Council. He was elected to the local Works Council for the first time in 1994 and took on the role of chairman of this committee in 2002. In 2004, Ralf Bolm became a member of the General Works Council of Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH and in the same year also became a member of the Group Works Council of Rheinmetall AG. He has been on the Works Council of the Defence sector of Rheinmetall AG since 2005. In 2014, he took on the role of deputy chairman of this committee. Ulrich Grillo was the President of the Metals Trade Association from 2006 to 2012, and from 2011 to 2012, he was the Vice-President of the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI). In addition, he was the Chairman of the Raw Materials Policy Committee of BDI from June 2007 to December 2012. From 1 January 2013 until the end of 2016, Ulrich Grillo was President of the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI). After first being elected in October 2009, Ulrich Grillo was re-elected for five more years in December 2019 in the full assembly of the Lower Rhine Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Duisburg, Wesel and Kleve, which helped to provide the foundations for IHK's work on a voluntary basis. In addition to his membership on the Board of the Metals Trade Association in Düsseldorf and Berlin, Ulrich Grillo is Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board of the Unternehmerverband der Metallindustrie, Ruhr-Niederrhein e.V. in Duisburg (UVM).
