Chris Gray

Chris Gray and Clint Sayers lead the appraisal division of Sayers Real Estate Advisors offering expertise in all types of commercial property, as well as urban, suburban and rural land throughout the state. Chris is licensed as a State Certified General Appraiser by the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB). Since joining Sayers Real Estate Advisors in 2011, Chris has completed valuation assignments involving a variety of commercial properties types including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, hotels, marinas, residential subdivisions, urban and rural land and ground leases.

Clinton Sayers II

Since joining the brokerage team at Sayers Real Estate Advisors in 2011 as a Associate Broker, Clinton Sayers has closed over 100 transactions of commercial property for redevelopment. The brokerage team's focus is facilitating the highest and best use of urban commercial properties by working with property owners, developers and investors in Central Texas to broker new opportunities for investment and development in Austin's CBD and surrounding central submarkets. The team's top priority is to add value to their clients' business plans by understanding industry trends, the land development code, engaging in the community and participating in local initiatives. Clinton began his real estate career in the Investment Banking Group of Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas, TX. The Investment Banking Group specialized in arranging debt and equity financing for existing and to-be-built commercial and multifamily properties. Clinton earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and minor in Spanish from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business. Clint Sayers is an independent real estate appraiser and broker. He has been actively engaged in the real estate profession since 1972, and is experienced in the appraisal and brokerage of a wide variety of real property types. Clint serves as President of Sayers Real Estate Advisors, which he formed as Sayers & Associates, Inc. in 1977. He has been a licensed Broker's from the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) since 1974 and is also licensed as a State Certified General Appraiser by the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB). Sayers holds the Realtor designation from the Austin Board of Realtors and has held the MAI designation since 1982 from the Appraisal Institute. He is qualified as a real property expert witness in District, State and Federal courts. Over the past 40 years Sayers has served on numerous professional civic boards and committees. These include the St. Andrews Episcopal School Board (5 years), the Eanes Independent School Board (12 years) and served in various capacities of the local chapters and national committees of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and the Appraisal Institute. In 2005, Clint was appointed to the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board by Governor Rick Perry. There he served as the Board's Chairman for two years out of his six year tenure.

Jake Malone

Jake Malone joined Sayers Real Estate Advisors, Inc. in 2020 and works as a commercial real estate agent in Austin, Texas. Jake plays a vital role on the Sayers Brokerage Team. He leads leasing for the office, primarily representing private and institutional landlords of ground floor commercial space, as well as stand-alone industrial, office, and retail properties. In addition to leasing, Jake focusses on urban investment sales, as well as assisting Clinton Sayers II and Paul Byars on various urban land transactions. Prior to joining Sayers, Jake worked as an Associate at SVN's Institutional Capital Markets group, SVN Angelic. In this role, Jake gained valuable insight into commercial real estate brokerage and mortgage brokerage on a national scale. Jake is a native Austinite and is passionate about supporting and contributing to the local community for the long-term.

Paul Byars

Clinton and Paul represent both Sellers and Buyers in the disposition and acquisition of urban land in Austin and San Antonio. In an effort to provide as much value to their clients as possible, Paul strives to learn about and engage in as many local issues as possible - from serving on a City of Austin Board and Commission to being an active member of a number of conservancies and organizations affiliated with urban Austin. Since 2013, Clinton and Paul have closed 100+ land deals totaling over $300 million. Prior to joining Sayers Real Estate Advisors, Paul worked at Armbrust & Brown, PLLC as a Land Planner where he researched projects for the Land Development Consultants and prepared documents as requested by attorneys. Paul graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University with a Bachelor of the Arts in History and Spanish. While there, he created, researched and designed an upper division seminar-style course with the approval and guidance of a professor that is still taught today (SPMT 4302 Seminar in Contemporary American Sport).
