Dr. Angel Pineda

Since graduating from veterinary school in May of 2011, Dr. Angel Pineda has been taking care of patients at Shannon Veterinary Services. She always wanted to work in a practice like SVS, where she could see a variety of cases and help the clients in her community to provide excellent care for their pet family members. Dr. Pineda particularly enjoys performing routine and soft tissue surgeries. She additionally performs abdominal ultrasounds, OFA procedures, and is certified in Penn Hip procedures. Dr. Pineda grew up in the surrounding areas of Jefferson and attended both undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Georgia. She is a die-hard UGA fan, attending as many football games as possible and cheering on the DAWGS. The rest of her time is spent with her husband and three children. They like traveling and spending time outdoors, particularly at the beach and nearby lakes. She currently has two large breed dogs, Pirate Calypso Eyeball and Captain Muddy Bones.

Dr. Gail Davison

Dr. Gail Davison graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She worked in Winder for 11 years prior to coming to Shannon Veterinary Services. Gail is interested in excellent client education, behavior, dermatology, and ophthalmology. She is dedicated to helping her clients have a healthy and loving relationship with their pets. She enjoys working on her land, watching her daughter play sports, and spending time with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and her cat in her spare time.

Dr. Lindsey Cooper

  • Veterinarian
Dr. Lindsey Cooper has been able to work alongside friends at Shannon Vet Services since before veterinary school. She first came to SVS in 2012 as an undergraduate intern before being offered her first position as veterinary assistant. Her job title changed to veterinarian in 2018 when she graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Raised in Flowery Branch, she has been involved in her family's cattle, poultry, & Christmas tree farming businesses. She is also a newly elected member of the Hall County Farm Bureau Board. Outside of these things, she enjoys being outside - usually hiking, gardening, & tending to the animals at home.
