Adam Buczek serves as the President of Skorburg Company. He is a leader in land acquisitions, entitlements, builder relations, risk management and operational accounting with extensive experience in zoning. In addition, he provides support for the finance and close and project management functions of the company.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company in 2004, he spent over four years in mergers & acquisitions with KPMG LLP in Dallas, Texas where he provided buy and sell side financial due diligence services in a variety of industries including health care, manufacturing, real estate, and professional services. Prior to his time with KPMG LLP, he spent over two years as an auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Buczek earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in business administration from Baylor University, and is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of Texas.

Adam Shiffer joined the Skorburg Company in the spring of 2019. As Vice President of Acquisitions, he is primarily focused on identifying new land opportunities and underwriting prospective developments. Additionally, he is active in the zoning and entitlement process for new projects.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company, Adam attended Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Real Estate Finance.

Brooke Van Voorhis serves as the Land Acquisition Associate for the Skorburg Company. Brooke's primary focus is market research analysis, database management and assisting the Acquisition team with sourcing new deals.
Prior to joining Skorburg in February of 2023, Brooke worked in the real estate appraisal business. Brooke graduated from Central Methodist University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and competed on both the Women's Track & Field and Cross Country teams.

Bryan Holland is a Development Partner for Skorburg Company. He is focused on finance/close activities, bank and equity relations, builder relations, dispositions, and other areas of the development process such as zoning and predevelopment.
Prior to joining the Skorburg Company in 2016, Mr. Holland spent nearly three decades in the engineering, home construction and land development business. He has worked in various markets across the country including Colorado, Arizona, California, and Kansas with the last 20 + years focused on the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
Mr. Holland earned his bachelor's degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University. He and his wife Dana have four children and reside in Colleyville, Texas.

Claire Shannon is the Director of Project Finance for Skorburg Company. Claire focuses on supporting finance and close activities, underwriting potential acquisitions, and performing financial analyses on current development projects and dispositions. She is also responsible for Homeowners Association formation and budgets as new projects are delivered.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company in 2021, Claire spent two years as a Senior Financial Analyst for an industrial developer, Panattoni Development Company, in both their Dallas, TX and Newport Beach, CA offices.
Claire graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Finance in 2018. Claire is also a licensed real estate agent in the State of Texas.

Dan joined the Skorburg Company in the summer of 2023. His primary focus as a Land Acquisition Associate is identifying new land opportunities, underwriting prospective developments, and market research.
Prior to joining the Skorburg Company, Dan worked as a valuation and marketing analyst for a multi-family brokerage in the Dallas area producing financial models and offering memorandums for prospective listings.
Dan attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Price College of Business, majoring in both Finance and Marketing. Dan is also a licensed real estate agent in the State of Texas.

James Murphey serves as the Director of Project Management for the Skorburg Company. His primary responsibility is to manage all real estate and construction projects from contract close through substantial completion. In addition, he assists in pre-development, builder relations, HOA management, & entitlements.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company in 2022, James spent four years as a Development Manager for a real estate development firm where he was heavily involved in acquisitions, entitlements, and construction management.
James obtained two degrees from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and a Master of Science in Business. James is also a licensed real estate sales agent in the State of Texas.

As a Development Partner for the Skorburg Company, Mr. Arnold oversees nearly all aspects of the acquisitions and development process. He is primarily focused on engineering, cost estimating, project management, construction, and plays a major role in the acquisition, zoning, and entitlement functions of the Company.
Prior to joining the Skorburg company in 2013, Mr. Arnold spent the better part of a decade honing his craft in real estate at Eastdil Secured and Lacy Construction.
Mr. Arnold earned his bachelor's degree in Finance/International Business/Marketing from Georgetown University and now resides in Dallas with his wife and children. In his spare time Mr. Arnold enjoys travelling, hunting, fishing, and golfing.

As the Development Construction Manager for the Skorburg Company, Mr. Geyer oversees field operations for onsite construction.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company, Mr. Geyer worked in various industries of construction for over 30 years. His experience includes owning and operating a residential construction company and serving as the area manager in the production home building industry. Mr. Geyer was also given the opportunity to work in the heavy civil industry at Texas Sterling for nearly a decade where he worked as a project coordinator, superintendent, and project manager overseeing all aspects of projects. His building experience includes everything from bridges, highways, installing infrastructure for TxDot and city municipalities to home construction. Mr. Geyer later joined Mario Sinacola where he transitioned from heavy highway to development construction where he served as the Senior Project Manager overseeing scheduling, cost, and construction of developments. After several years with Sinacola he went on to join Republic Property Group, where he was the Development Construction Manager and oversaw every aspect of construction for Master Planned developments throughout the DFW area. Mr. Geyer was heavily involved in planning, scheduling, bidding, contract awards, pre construction, and construction of all communities. Mr. Geyer also served as the VP of the HOA board for the community and represented RPG at city meetings and planning boards.
Mr. Geyer resides in Saginaw with his wife, Kristi. They have 5 children between them. In his spare time, Kevin loves to play softball, travel with his wife, play golf, and enjoys any outdoor activities.

Kevin Harrell serves as the Land Acquisition Manager for the Skorburg Company. He leads the Acquisition Department in market research, deal sourcing, contract negotiations and acquisition of prospective developments. In addition, he assists with transaction management, builder relations, due diligence, and entitlements.
Kevin began his career as a land and investment broker at Novus Realty Advisors and Younger Partners for over four years prior to joining Skorburg Company as a Land Acquisition and Development Associate in October of 2019.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University, and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys golfing, exercising, hunting, fishing and watching college football.

Mike Gavin of Maumee Capital, LLC has a role as an Independent Senior Advisor to the Skorburg Company. Since 1976, he has been involved in all aspects of the single-family development process from market research and site selection through contract negotiations, entitlements, engineering, financing and on-site development to lot sales and HOA management.
Prior to his association with Skorburg Company, his 4+ decades of service included senior development/management roles with 5 different developer/builder entities. After nearly 3 years learning the business in the Houston area, Houston's then-largest builder transferred him to the DFW Metroplex to develop a growth strategy and business plan for a regional operation, which grew to become the 2 nd largest Metroplex builder within 4 years. His experience has been with both public and private companies in the Houston and DFW areas. His leadership was also used for 7 years of oversight for asset management and disposition of over $100M of RTC REO from the S&L crisis in the early 90s.
Mr. Gavin earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering with minors in both economics and accounting from Purdue University in Indiana. He has also served on Developers' Councils and their Boards in Houston, Plano, Frisco, Prosper and North Texas as well as a multi-year volunteer judge for the NTX Future City Competition for middle school students in North Texas. Additionally, he has served his church as Lector, Building Committee Athletic Chair, Men's Club President and Parish Council President. His passion for the values derived from athletics, which included his involvement as a PA announcer, coach, referee, scouting liaison and President of the Dallas Catholic Softball Association, was shared with his 4 children.

Neil Stenberg is Vice President of Acquisitions for the Skorburg Company. His primary focus is on the sourcing and acquisition of new land development and investment opportunities. In addition, he plays an active role in zoning and entitlements.
Prior to joining the Skorburg Company in January 2020, Neil attended Texas Christian University where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the TCU Neeley School of Business, majoring in both Finance with a Real Estate Concentration and Entrepreneurial Management.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Neil is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing.

Preston Crow serves as a Land Development Engineer with the Skorburg Company. He is involved in the entitlements, cost estimating, and pre-development aspects of new acquisition projects. He also assists in all construction aspects of Skorburg Company's projects.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company, Preston worked for nearly 4 years at Peloton Land Solutions as a civil engineer and project manager on single family residential design. During his time with Peloton, he entitled, designed, and managed the construction of nearly 3,000 single family lots in the DFW metroplex.
Preston graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.

Price Peters serves as a Development Associate for the Skorburg Company. As a Development Associate, he is responsible for identifying new multifamily land acquisitions, underwriting potential land acquisitions, and establishing relationships with new business partners for the multifamily division. Additionally, he is active in the zoning and entitlement process for new projects.
Prior to joining Skorburg Company in 2023, Price spent two years as a Development Associate for a multifamily developer, Lennar Multifamily, in the Chicago, IL office. Prior to Price's time in Chicago, IL, he served as a Commercial Real Estate Underwriter for two years at Texas Capital Bank assisting with the financing of multifamily construction loans.
Price graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate Finance in 2018.

Ty Young is a Land Development Engineer for Skorburg Company. He is primarily focused on cost estimating and securing entitlements for prospective developments. He also assists with aspects of acquisitions, zoning, and construction management.
Ty began his career as a Civil Engineer at Kimley-Horn before joining Skorburg Company in 2023. In his four years at Kimley Horn, he led design teams to produce over 1,000 lots across three master planned communities in the DFW metroplex. He was also active in project and construction management.
Ty earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is working toward becoming a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
