Daniela De Lucia

Daniela De Lucia holds a fellowship on Study of communication modalities, definition and implementation of strategies for the dissemination of the results and works at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, where she is carrying out an analysis of the framework applied in some research projects for defining the most suitable dissemination strategies. In addition, she is charge of all the administrative and financial activities related to the management of national and European projects. She has, in fact, contributed and continues to contribute to the effective management of diverse European and Italian projects (e.g., FP6 -IST SATIN, FP7 - IAPP- FORMAT, FP7- PSP-ICT 3DICONS, Erasmus + - CBHE - OIPEC).

Dr Guy Prudhomme

Dr Guy Prudhomme is associate professor at University Joseph Fourier Grenoble.

Dr Vimal Dhokia

Dr Vimal Dhokia, will be the second academic involved at the University of Bath. He specialises in the interface between innovation, design and manufacture, personalised design and advanced manufacturing technology. Vimal is interested in the next generation of design for manufacture and the emerging concept of industry 4.0. He has experience of contributing to EU-projects and was the lead Bath researcher on a EU-FP7 project entitled DEMAT -Dematerialised Manufacturing Systems (project no' 246020): developing next generation dematerialised, reconfigurable machine tools. He has also recently been funded to develop new design tools and methods for hybrid manufacturing through Innovate UK - FALCON: Finishing of Additive Components On a Novel platform. His technical expertise in the interface between digital/virtual design methods and advanced manufacturing technologies will be an asset at UBAH.

Lorenzo Giunta

Lorenzo Giunta is a PhD researcher who is currently working on an MSc project related to SPARK in which he will be looking at co-creative design sessions and how their efficiency and effectiveness can be measured. His work within the SPARK project will involve helping with the iterative testing of the SPARK platform technology. Before joining in Bath he was at the Technical University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands where his major project involved user-centred design of new technologies for fencing sports.

Marta Ferrés

Marta is Stimulo assistant, support designers by helping them in all aspects of the design process. She is responsible of all accounting process and project control costs, prepare and review backup for audits and ensure that financial data/information for the company is accurate.

Niccolò Becattini

Niccolò Becattini, Mech Eng, PhD is an Assitant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. He also works as a teaching assistant for classes of Technical Representation Methods and Methods for Systematic Innovation. He is currently working on national and international funded projects. His researches focus on design methods and tools and related cognitive processes, with particular reference to innovation practices and the early phases of the development processes, where creativity play a paramount role. He is author of more than 40 publication s distributed among authoritative international journals, monographs and scientific conferences.

Pamela Borrelli

Pamela Borrelli graduated in industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano, she has developed an in-depth knowledge of the visual design culture, maturing her experience in the Milanese environment of business communication. Working at Artefice Group since 2008, she has specialized in brand and packaging design working for clients such as Alce Nero, Perugina, Ferrero, Danone and Findus.

Philippe Martens

Philippe Martens graduated with distinction in 1996 at the University of Antwerp as master in product development. After working a few years as a product designer, he was laureate in the 1999 ‘Design & Enterprize Fund' of the King Baudouin Foundation. From 2000 he has worked over 9 nine years with Belgian high tech company Barco, first as senior design engineer and later as technical design manager for the simulation and V&AR department. Since June 2009 Philippe coaches companies on innovation, design management, product and service design for Flanders Inshape, a competence center of the Antwerp Management School.

Pier Benzi

Pier Benzi, Creative director. He has been a packaging teacher for two years at Fondazione Accademia di Comunicazione for the Brand Design Master and in the last years he has dedicated himself to the research and ideation of several green design and product innovation concepts and projects. He studied visual design and art direction at the International College of Art and Science in Milan, then he graduated in architecture at Politecnico in Milan. The title of his thesis was: "Lo scenario di connotazione delle automobili". The supervisor was professor and architect Gabriella Bellotti. From 1987 to 1988 Pier Benzi has been worked at the agency Adv Skill in Milan as art director, then at Advert performing the same role until 1993. From 1994 to 1996 he was senior art director at I-Magic agency and he founded in 1996 Artefice, now called Artefice Group, being partner and creative director right from the start. Overall, he has gained more than 20 years of professional experience in Brand Design and Communication, following the direction of creative projects, design and innovation for companies such as Artsana, Coca-Cola, Danone, Nestle, Sky, Unilever.
