Cristy Caldwell

Cristy Caldwell came to MKTM after earning her Advanced Paralegal Certificate and working at a large corporate law firm. Clients appreciate Cristy's kindness and dedication to detail as she assists them through the litigation process. In her youth, Cristy spent many years abroad, including time in Austria and England. She holds a bachelor's degree in German Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She is happiest when sharing great meals and conversation with her family and friends.

Elaine Greene

Elaine Greene has worked in the legal field for nearly thirty years. Her expertise in personal injury and medical malpractice makes her an important member of the MKTM team. Elaine works closely with our clients throughout the lifespan of a case. Elaine is a longtime resident of Bainbridge Island and enjoys spending time in the outdoors. She is frequently involved in Island organizations, including Bainbridge in Bloom and NW Wildlife Rehab.

Elizabeth Ozimek

Elizabeth Ozimek is the firm's Receptionist/Office Assistant. She graduated from the University of Redlands with a BA in History in 2006. After seven years of teaching across the country, Elizabeth and her husband put down roots on Bainbridge Island, along with their Airedale terrier, Cheddar Pancakes. You can find her most days biking around the island in bright red fleece shorts, going for a run with Cheddar, or playing in her garden.

Heather Paradis

Heather Paradis is an experienced legal advisor and trial attorney for upwards of twenty years. Heather's practice history is a unique and valuable asset to our firm as well as to our clients who have experienced wrongdoing at the hands of healthcare providers and institutions. Heather spent the first part of her legal career practicing as a defense attorney representing doctors, clinics, and hospitals under investigation. This experience gives her a distinctive perspective that provides for targeted focus on building the strongest possible cases for our clients. Heather is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Washington Association for Justice. She is part of various state and national litigation groups to include medical negligence, nursing home, birth trauma, and brain injury litigation. She participates in state and national conventions on these and other advocacy issues, including the Trial Lawyer's College. Heather has spoken both locally and nationally on areas of legal interest, as well as with the media. Heather considers practicing law to be a great honor. She dedicates her practice to integrating the human experience into what can otherwise be a seemingly rigid legal system. She has a strong and unwavering commitment to her clients, values their trust, and respects their confidences.

Todd Tinker

For more than twenty years Todd Tinker has been representing injured people. Throughout his career, Todd's practice has focused on serious personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. Todd was born on an army base in Heidelberg, Germany, and was raised in the Pacific Northwest in Shoreline, Washington. Todd earned his BA, cum laude, from Washington State University. He earned his JD, cum laude, from Seattle University. Todd believes in serving his community and is active in several non-profit organizations. He is the former President of Kitsap Cancer Services, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting patients, family members, friends, and caregivers in their fight against the emotional and physical effects of coping with cancer. He is former President of the Board of Trustees of Montessori Country School, and is a member of the Board of One Call For All. Todd has also served as President of the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, where he is active on the Scholarship Committee, and is Site Manager at the annual Bainbridge Island Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale, one of the largest one-day, non-profit rummage sales in the country. Todd Tinker has been representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases for nearly 20 years. .

Tricia Bickerstaff

Tricia Bickerstaff is the firm's Business Manager, overseeing everything from accounting to office technology. Tricia began with the firm twenty years ago in the days when Kerry Kidman practiced in Seattle with Todd Tinker's father, Gregg Tinker. She is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University, with degrees in journalism and communication. Tricia enjoys hiking, playing the piano and cooking, and can be found playing co-ed soccer on even the rainiest evenings of the year.
