Amanda joined Waters & Associates in October of 2020. Amanda received her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston and received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University.
During her time at New England Law | Boston, she gained invaluable experience through several externships, including real estate law, tax law, and estate planning. While in law school, Amanda served as an Executive Literary Editor for the New England Law Review.
Before joining Waters & Associates, Amanda was an associate at a large accounting firm specializing in state & local tax law and mergers and acquisitions. Amanda eagerly looks forward to working with clients in the fields of business, family law, and estate planning.
When Amanda is not working, she enjoys playing rugby and spending time with her family and friends.
Colleen serves as both our legal assistant and office manager (aka office magician). You'll likely speak to her when you call or visit the office. Responsible for general office management, Colleen enjoys that each day can bring a new challenge and welcomes working on different facets of the business daily.
When not at the office, Colleen enjoys gardening and spending time with her family on her small farm.
Lynette Dearborn has been in the legal field for 14 years. She graduated from Hesser College with honors, obtaining an Associates of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies. Lynette has worked for several law firms throughout New Hampshire and has been working with Attorney Robert Waters at Waters & Associates for almost 6 years.
Lynette has been a paralegal for 11 years. She has worked in many different legal fields, and her experience includes insurance litigation, general civil and business litigation, contracts, personal injury, criminal defense, probate and estate planning, and family law. Lynette's experience and dedication make her an invaluable asset to every client.
Lynette is a devoted wife and mother of four wonderful children. She is involved in her local church and enjoys spending time with her extended family. Lynette's love for children and passionate belief that no child should ever have to grow up in a home where abuse of any kind is present has led her to volunteer at CASA of New Hampshire. Lynette has been a member of CASA and Court appointed Guardian ad Litem since early 2019.
With 20 years of legal and business experience, Rob is a successful business owner, entrepreneur, and managing partner of Waters & Associates PLLC. Rob provides legal services in various areas, including business transactions, disputes, real estate development, real estate transactions, taxation, banking practices, and specialized knowledge in the mortgage crisis and securitized funding. Rob is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and is a licensed Insurance Producer.
With Rob's background, he knows that a small business owner's needs reach beyond mere legal issues. For a small business to be successful, a business owner needs the proper balance of compliance, protection, expansion, and efficiency. Rob's expertise provides a modern understanding of how to best manage and expand his clients' business and assets through proper tax and estate planning. Rob's vast experience covers businesses such as restaurant operations, automotive dealerships, auto floor plan lending, mortgage lending, offshore reinsurance, real estate holdings, real estate development, commercial and residential tenancy, business and partnership formations and dissolutions, employer liability, and business defense in employment law issues.
He received his B.S. degree in business and accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. With his network of talented legal experts, Attorney Waters uses his education and business experience to provide the local business community and individuals alike with an understandable approach to complicated issues.
