In addition, she has been able to increase the time she spends supporting the Northwest business community-whether that be through her role as a board member of the business development organisation pro-manchester, supporting the National Literacy Trust in Greater Manchester, Smartworks or as most recently appointed, acting as an ambassador on behalf of the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity which raises money for and promotes awareness of homelessness. Alison is a champion of equality in the workplace, recognising the importance of diversity and promoting health and well-being at work.
