Ashley Langlois is the Commercial Accounts Manager at A-1 Roofing. She previously held a position as a Lead Schedule Coordinator at a local home infusion company, for over 10 years.
Ashley is originally from Sayville, but currently calls Port Jefferson her home. She lives with her husband & best friend P.J, their 3-year-old daughter Peyton and their 4-year-old Maltipoo Duncan.
In her time away from work, she loves to cook, travel, and spend as much time with her family as possible!

Erik has been a Project Estimator for A-1 since 2019. He holds a BA degree in Psychology and is a Certified Personal Development Coach. He has worked in various aspects of building and construction, as well as many other fields such as coaching, counseling, and retail. Erik handles estimates and sales for residential projects, plus multiple property management accounts. He also assists with various office and training aspects of the A-1 day-to-day operations. Whether he is in the office or out in the field, Erik feels that the most important values for success are empathy and understanding. He strives to be relatable and adaptable to the best of his ability.
Erik is a 12th generation Long Islander who lives in South Setauket with his wife and 2 children. He is an avid rock climber, who loves to spend his free time outdoors. He has an obsession for learning, is fond of many types of music, and has passion for cooking…and eating!

Evelyn Velasquez is the Human Resources Assistant at the A1 Group. She previously worked for a large recruitment agency where she successfully placed over 200 qualified candidates into their desired positions. She is experienced in candidate sourcing, interviewing and interview prep, resume building, and onboarding. Evelyn has her A.S degree in Accounting from Suffolk Community College and is currently attending Grand Canyon University where she is pursuing her B.S in Human Resources Management. In her free time, Evelyn loves scootering to the beach with her furry best friend, Kiki and traveling to warm places with her partner, Tom.
John is the CEO of A1 Group. His role is the visionary and leader of A1. John has been in the family roofing business since he was a teenager. He also worked throughout his time in college, and has been full time since 2004. John started at the company as a helper, and has worked his way up the ladder through the organization to the position he is at currently. He is active in the community, and a member of the Young Presidents Organization.

Kevin has been a part of the A1 Group since 2016 where he is currently a Project Manager and Estimator. He started in the construction business in 2001, as a helper on a residential framing crew. Before joining the A1 team, Kevin was a general contractor for commercial buildings. Kevin lives locally with his wife Lyndsey and two children - Sophia and Vinny. His keys to success are always to be honest and always do the right thing. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his son's tee-ball team, golfing, playing softball, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Maria is the HR Director of A1 Group. She has worked with A1 since 2012 and has developed A1 Group's HR department. She is an active member of SHRM National and SHRM-LI. Maria oversees the department in recruitment, new hire onboarding, employee relations, and payroll processes. Maria guides the A1 team and implements compliance and best practices, policy and procedure development, training and team development, and performance management. She also heads compensation planning and benefits administration. Maria is responsible for instituting an efficient and cutting-edge payroll software system in 2021. Maria is excited to be a part of a thriving and expanding company. She looks forward to continuing collaborative efforts, in developing and elevating the A1 team to work towards the company's vision and aspirations. Maria majored in Child Study and Communications at St. Joseph's College. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009. Maria and her husband Andrea have two boys, Gianluca and Lorenzo. She loves spending time with family, traveling, and watching her sons' sporting events.
Michael Miller is an integral part of the A1Group as a Project Estimator. He began his career at A1 Roofing over 20 years ago as an apprentice working on the roof every day where he was able to grow into his current position as a Project Estimator. Michael understands the investment that home and commercial projects require. He is a warm, helpful guide that aids the clients in the decision-making process for each and every project. Michael was born and raised on Long Island, in Mt. Sinai. He now resides in Islip with his beautiful wife Maureen, where they plan to start their family.
Patrick started with A1 Roofing in March of 2021. He started with A1 as a commercial roofing apprentice working on various commercial projects. Patrick has learned the trade of roofing hands-on, while working with our highly skilled foreman, mechanics and laborers. Recently, he began his new position as a Project Estimator. To prepare himself for his new role, Patrick has had the pleasure of training with a number of our company project managers, salesmen, and estimators. Prior to working for A1, Patrick studied management at York college of Pennsylvania and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2020. While attending college, Patrick also worked as a carpenter during the summer months. This is where he originally found his passion for construction and the roofing Industry. When he is away from work, Patrick enjoys staying active by playing golf, softball and volleyball.
Reina began her career with A1 Group as a Customer Service Rep and was quickly promoted to the Scheduling Coordinator. She works closely with the COO and A1 Roofing Foremen to create a productive and accurate schedule for all pending projects. Reina also handles unexpected schedule changes and can quickly adapt to change while ensuring all projects are completed in a timely manner. Reina graduated from Suffolk Community College with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Stony Brook. She has over 20 years of Customer Service experience, and 10 years of Management experience. She worked at the restaurant Pasta Pasta for over 17 years, as a server and an assistant manager where she also met her husband. They have been married for over 12 years and have 2 boys.
Robert Plotke began his journey with roofing on a crew and then moved into Estimating and Project Management, where he continues to excel.
Robert has been in the Commercial Roofing Industry for 15 years. He joined the A1 Group as an Estimator and Project manager in July 2020.
Robert has a B.S. degree from SUNY Farmingdale. He lives in Bay Shore and enjoys skiing and traveling.

Scott Balsamo is A1 Group's Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Agent. He is responsible for ordering materials for the warehouse and specific projects. He creates PO's for all A1 orders, to enable tracking and checks costs. He schedules material, and delivers to job sites. He also monitors vendor pricing, to ensure fair and competitive rates. Scott maintains all company vehicles, by keeping up to date on inspections and any repairs needed. Before joining the A1 team, Scott spent 30 years as a union worker for Nassau Suffolk Lumber / Teamster for local 1205. He started off as a forklift operator / truck driver and was promoted to yard supervisor at 25 years old. He ran the yard for 25 years and retired from there in 2018. Scott has coached little league baseball and softball for 8 years. He has 3 children Joey, Danielle and Alexis. He is a proud grandfather to his granddaughter Charlotte. Scott loves spending his free time traveling with his beautiful fiancé, Jenn.

Vincent is the Chief Operating Officer and an Owner of A1 Group. He began his journey in the roofing industry at A1 Roofing in 1998. Vincent is committed to supervising the day-to-day operations, and overseeing the production of over 15 crews daily. Vincent is also dedicated to A1 Group's New Business Development. He graduated with a degree in Business Management from St. Josephs College. Vincent and his wife Danielle have 3 beautiful girls- Sienna, Talia, and Daniela. During his free time, he enjoys golfing. He also enjoys giving back to the community through charities, such as St. Jude Children's Hospital.
