Chris Bennett has positioned himself as one of the industry's most informed, influential and dynamic producers. Bennett has spent the last five years serving as Director of Client Relations at Capella Mortgage - a title which is representative of his 24 years in finance, a passion for real estate and affinity for southern Nevada. His direct and honest approach coupled with being on the forefront of one of the most quickly ascending markets in the country has equated to terrific success. After relocating from Manhattan Beach, CA, hard money and real estate development were the obvious directions for Bennett. Pursuits outside of real estate and finance include philanthropic endeavors by way of Boys Town Nevada (Chair), Pepperdine Alumni Association (Vice President), Vegas Shepherd Rescue, Team Hoyt Las Vegas (Treasurer) and The Sanctuary Project (Executive Board). Other passions include traveling the world, racing Ironman events, family and the occasional glass of Barolo.
Corinne Cordon is one of the owners and the Chairman of the Board for Capella Mortgage. She has a B.S. in Business Admin/MIS from UNLV and she started her career in IT, building systems on small business computers to serve the business community. After 8 years of IT, she moved on to Citibank, N.A., learned the credit card business for 8 years, and then started originating loans in the Las Vegas Valley in 1996, quite by accident.
Eventually she added expertise in commercial lending through the CCIM program, residential lending with Desktop Underwriter, and hard money lending through the school of hard knocks. Corinne has extensive experience in computer programming, systems and financial analysis and has designed the origination and servicing software her company uses to handle a large volume of complex loans.
My name is Elaine Manolakos and I am proud to assist Capela Mortgage Corp with Investor Relations, Human Resources, Fund Analysis for the Opportunity Fund and direct Assistant to Matthew Dale. My background consists of Management and Operations Management for small and mid sized companies. The highlight of my every day duties is talking with our investors and making sure they have everything they need to be successful within their Capella investments. Although I absolutely love what I do and all our investors; my ultimate goal in life is to have non-profits to assist people nationwide and maybe one day worldwide.
My name is Isis Guzman, I'm Capella Mortgage's Receptionist and Post Closing assistant. I have been part of the Capella team for 2 years and feel very lucky to be a part of such an amazing group. I am a mother of 2 boys and have been married to my husband for 22 years. I am highly devoted to my family as they are my top priority in life and when I'm not working you can find me with. In addition, I love to cook, for me it's a form of expressing my love. Before Capella I was a Loan Officer for personal loans for 14 years, which opened my interest in the Real Estate business in hopes of one day becoming an agent or Mortgage Loan Officer. In my time with Capella, I have learned a lot and enjoy taking on new challenges and responsibilities with each new role. In the last year I also became a notary in the state of Nevada, finally, I am a self-motivated and dedicated individual who loves helping others and believe highly in the satisfaction of our customers with each interaction.
Jim is a Licensed Attorney and Real Estate Broker in the Philippines. His prior legal practice focused on banking and commercial litigation. He moved to Las Vegas together with his family in 2016. He has been in the real estate business as a Licensed Salesperson for six (6) years and he previously specialized in handling loan documents as a Notary Signing Agent. To him, providing exceptional customer service is a means to exhibit pride in his work. He approaches each customer with the main objective of helping solve a problem or achieve a goal, and makes sure that the standard of service is higher than what is expected.
My name is Marsix Zazueta, and I have been a part of the Capella family for about 10 years. I am the Senior Loan Processor here at Capella and love helping our clients work through our process to cross the finish line on our closings. As well as helping with all our Spanish speakers. I have lived in Las Vegas almost all my life. I am a proud mother of 5 beautiful children ranging from 18 months to 9 years old. I'm married to my best friend who I have known since I was 5 years old. In my free time I love to read and travel, especially being outdoors. My family and I have visited 44 of the 50 United States. Matthew Dale is the co-owner of Capella Mortgage along with Corinne and the president and broker. Matt has been involved in the mortgage industry and Capella Mortgage since he was 16 years old, and his work with our investor base has been a key component of our company and our success.
Matthew does the initial underwriting on all loans before presenting them to our investors on our portal, and has the final say on the acceptance or denial of an applicant. Matt also manages our loss mitigation and loan default solutions.
