EMILY GIFFORD

I am a New York State Licensed Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. After earning my doctoral degree from the George Washington University, graduating with highest honors for clinical work, I moved back to New York to train and practice. Subsequent to completing an internship and then fellowship at The Children's Village, a residential treatment center, I was offered a staff position where I remained for 9 years. It was there, working in the foster care system, that I received advanced training in childhood anxiety and depression and where I specialized in treating trauma, both acute and chronic.
