Claudia is a molecular biologist expert in preclinical and translational research in diabetes. For her PhD in Biomedicine, Claudia studied the molecular effects of T2D drugs in pancreatic beta-cells. Prior to joining Inveniam, Claudia worked at a biotech clinical-stage company focused on oncology and CNS as a project manager supporting and leading R&D projects and securing public funding. Her passion lies in medical science, translating basic and preclinical research into patients' solutions.

Emma has previously worked at the R&D department of a Danish Biotech company and at a research group at university, altogether specializing in cancer diagnosis, drug discovery and drug delivery. As a graduate of Environmental Engineering, she can evaluate sustainable technologies and design environmentally efficient solutions. Furthermore, she can quantify climate and environmental impacts independently or in parallel to financial and socio-economic aspects, with a global perspective focusing on circular economy.
Enrique is a Sustainability expert with a focus on clean energy technologies. He's held roles as an engineer, R&D leader, and General Manager, leading teams in hydrogen, fuel cells, carbon capture, energy efficiency, and solar/wave energy. He is a lecturer at Loyola University, and runs the Loyola Innovation Hub. Enrique thrives on international collaboration, crafting strategies, securing funding, and forging tech agreements for successful ventures.
Eric is an experienced entrepreneur, consultant and transaction advisor in different industries, with a special focus on sustainability. Prior to co-founding Inveniam, he worked as a consultant setting up a major Spanish incubator. He has also served in several positions in a power & gas corporation and worked in investment banking.

She spent three years in France working with a solar scaling SME, focusing on commercial ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) projects and innovative agri-voltaic solutions. Additionally, Floriane dedicated a year in London to offshore wind development, concentrating on cutting-edge floating technology projects from France and Norway. Her passion lies in sustainability, finance, and growth strategies, enabling companies to secure the necessary funds for their ambitions.
Gilad is an accomplished scientific and IP professional with an extensive trajectory within research laboratories, IP firms, and the Israeli ministry of health and defense. Gilad is passionate about science, biology, innovation, food, and linguistics. He brings a unique perspective to the Life Sciences team as a scientific and strategic consultant. He is also a skilled translator and member of the American Translators' Association.
Guillem has always been passionate about the intersection of technology and sustainability. Previously, he worked as Chief of Operations and Project Manager at CRAM Foundation, gaining over 5 years of expertise in managing engineering and conservation projects. He stinted as an R&D engineer and business developer at a tech startup for real-time fish farm remote monitoring. At Inveniam, Guillem leverages his expertise and experience to craft cutting-edge solutions for the challenges and complexities that projects may encounter.
Guillermo combines his economic and legal background with a keen interest in the world of start-ups. He has experience working in the Fintech ecosystem and, now he wants to bring financial advisory to start-ups and researchers with health and environmental impact innovations. At Inveniam, Guillermo helps in the financial part of the projects.
Jacob's laboratory experience spans from basic to preclinical research in areas as diverse as HIV, prostate cancer and epilepsy, working most recently in the Vaccine and Infectious Diseases Division at the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Institute. With his years at the bench behind him, he brings a passion for advancing the frontiers of medical science and eradicating the global burden of disease. He contributes to strategic consulting in the Life Sciences, focused on drugs and nanopharmaceutics.

Jesús is a molecular biologist and entrepreneur focused on addressing social needs through the development of life science-based technology. He worked as Research & Innovation Director and later Scientific Director at the Barcelona Science Park. Jesus has founded two companies and is an advisor to several others.
John has extensive experience in competitive funding for NGOs, businesses and research institutions. As Managing Director, he previously helped grow an innovation consulting firm into a leader in writing SME Instrument proposals. John currently leads Inveniam's public funding division.
Júlia combines her environmental background knowledge with the renewable energies sector and energy efficiency. She is proactive and passionate about environmental challenges and searching for de-carbonized solutions to achieve energy transitions. Júlia assists Inveniam'ssustainability department by engaging in strategic consulting activities, with a specific focus on circular and bioeconomy initiatives, specializing in renewable resources
For her PhD in the field of Astronomy, Laia worked on broad-band multi-colour imaging and image analysis to determine supernovae rates.
Laia supports the Inveniam Group team in public funding, helping guide clients through the different funding instruments in both European and Spanish funding. From single companies to consortiums, Laia helps clients tell the story of their technology and navigate the often complex processes that surround public funding. Laia is one of our generalist writers, working on projects in both the life sciences and sustainability teams.
Leveraging a rich background in translation and studies in East Asia and International Relations, Lucía excels at bridging gaps between diverse cultures and sectors. Her curiosity has led her to immerse herself in different corners of the world, including stints in Canada and China. With a keen eye for detail, Lucía is eager to bring fresh perspectives and serve as a dynamic link, helping to make complex information more accessible and fostering smooth communication at all levels.
Prior to joining Inveniam, Mairi worked in the University of Edinburgh's (UoE) commercialisation department, working with industry partners on large-scale research projects, with a particular focus on digital health.
She competed her PhD at the UoE, investigating cell plasticity within the renal collecting duct. During this time, she completed courses in innovation and entrepreneurship which sparked her interest in the translation of science and led her to complete an internship at Inveniam. She is happy to return to Inveniam now as a Project Manager in the Life Sciences team.
Marcin brings 15 years of experience in developing and implementing online growth strategies across a variety of digital channels. He has worked for big brands, SMEs, and startups in multiple sectors, including travel, finance, and automotive, across the UK, Spain, Italy, and Poland. Marcin's main digital marketing skills include performance marketing, user acquisition, social media strategy, SEM, and affiliate marketing.
Mario has a background in agricultural engineering, specializing in food economics for development. He has participated in several student mobility programs and gained valuable work experience in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His contributions have been acknowledged through various awards in business and research competitions. Mario's research encompasses a variety of topics, and he has published multiple papers in international scientific journals. Fluent in multiple languages, he also chairs the Youth Alliance for Zero Hunger-an international coalition empowering youth voices in food systems policy discussions. At Inveniam, Mario develops integral and circular approaches to environmental challenges to promote a sustainable future, encompassing both social and economic aspects."
Miriam is a dynamic and enthusiastic industrial engineer with experience in project and quality management in the automotive industry. In recent years, she got interested in the Circular Economy's potential to tackle climate change challenges, so she decided to dedicate her career to CE and sustainability-related projects. At Inveniam, Miriam will offer his project management experience to make possible innovative projects with environmental impact come to life.
Nick is an expert in energy engineering and economics, with experience in research, technology development, project management, fundraising and business planning. Prior to joining Inveniam, Nick supported and lead several energy innovation projects in the UK and Spain. He is the author of three IEEE publishes and has presented his research on-demand flexibility at a number of major European conferences.
