Anna has more than 20 years of legal practice in International Law, and is a Certified Lawyer with the Bar Association of Barcelona.
After receiving her Law Degree "Cum Laude" at the age of 20, she worked in Public Sector and several EU International Cooperation projects in various countries, specializing in particular, in Central Asia. She also worked in several multinational private businesses in real estate and hospitality sectors. She focuses in bringing best international practices in every project she carries out.
Anna holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law from England, for which she received a full scholarship on merits, and also a Master's Degree in International Law (Abogacía Internacional) from Spain.
Anna leads our Corporate and Commercial Law Practice, and specialises in business set-up, investment transactions, and immigration strategies.
Being an expat herself, she successfully runs the firm and several other businesses and works with investors from across the Globe.
Anna is fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish, and also speaks French and Catalan.

Emma is from Sweden, and started at Klev&Vera as an international intern while studying a Master of Laws from Umeå University in Sweden.
She is now providing with accounting and client support services while finishing her Law degree.
Emma is ambitious, and finds it challenging and interesting to work in an international environment. She brings a Scandinavian touch of order and perfection to our team.
Emma is native in Swedish, and speaks English and Spanish.

Joaquín is a Certified Lawyer with the Bar Association of Barcelona (ICAB), and has more than 35 years of experience in Litigation, Civil and Commercial Law.
Litigating throughout Spain, he defends the interests of clients in all types of disputes and, in particular, in real estate law, construction contracts, contractual and non-contractual liability claims, disputes between partners and directors of companies, unfair competition disputes, trademark law, industrial property, inheritance, among others.
As a native French-Spanish lawyer, educated at the Lycée Français in Barcelona, he defends and advises numerous French companies and individuals.

Jorge de Tienda graduated in Law in 1986 from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and has been a practising lawyer since 1986. He holds a Master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the University of Barcelona (1991).

Juan Carlos holds a Law Degree from the University of Barcelona, he is a licensed Tax Lawyer in the Bar Association of Barccelona (ICAB).
He also holds a Master Degree in Taxation and Tax Advice from the CEF - Centro de Estudios Financieros.
Juan Carlos has been with Klev&Vera since 2017, and specializes in International Tax Law (consultancy and management), Commercial and Inheritance Law.
Native in Catalan and Spanish, he is also fluent in English, and speaks basic German.
He describes himself as "resolute, rigorous and meticulous, I like to study each case and not take anything for granted".
Laia graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona and is currently pursuing the Master's degree to be admitted to the Bar next September. She has recently joined the Klev&Vera team as a Legal Support Team.
Her experience during the Erasmus Programme allowed her to go more deeply into International and European Law and provided her a global perspective of the legal world.
Laia's previous experience in the legal field allowed to learn more about Immigration Law and Immigration processes. She provides legal support in all Immigration procedures and client services.
She is a native speaker in Catalan and Spanish and is also fluent in English.
Laura is currently doing an internship with Klev&Vera during her last year of Law Degree at the University of Barcelona.
She is provides legal support to our team of lawyers in various matters, including drafting and translating documents, filing application forms, accompanying clients to their appointments with the Spanish authorities and dealing with official notices.
She has a clear international vocation, and enjoys attending clients from all over the world.
Laura is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, and is fluent in English and French.
Mara is from Germany and is currently doing an internship with Klev&Vera as part of her bachelor's degree in Comparative and European Law at the Hanse Law School in Oldenburg, Germany.
In her role, Mara assists with various client services, such as document translation, accompanying clients to meetings with authorities, and writing articles for Klev&Vera's website. She is excited to learn more about the law in Spain while working in this international law firm.
Mara is a native German speaker, speaks English professionally, and is also studying Spanish to better connect with clients and colleagues.

Ricard has more than 25 years of experience in accounting management, tax preparation and filing, both at corporate and self-employed level.
He has completed various courses in accounting and tax management at EADA and is always up to date with all tax news.
Sara holds a degree in Business Management and Administration from the Barcelona University and is a member of the Catalonian Economists Association.
She has 24 years of experience providing tax advice to Spanish and foreign companies and individuals, in a first-class law firm, and is passionate about excellence in work and customer satisfaction.
Sara specializes in international, corporate, and indirect Tax Law, and has extensive experience in real estate tax matters.
In an academic role, she has lectured on international tax law at Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional (ESCI) and on different tax matters at Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF), both in Barcelona. She has also published a number of tax related articles in economic journals.
Sara is a native speaker of Spanish, English and Catalan, and has a basic knowledge of French.
Sergi has a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a master's degree in Tax Advice and Management from the prestigious ESADE Business School and is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association with the number 35.377.
He has spent the majority of his professional career working for one of the Top4 law firms advising non-residents, multinational groups, start-ups and venture capital.
In Klev&Vera he provides legal advice on complex international tax matters to residents and non-residents, Beckham Law regime, as well as corporate and individual tax planning.
Sergi is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, and speaks English fluently.

Xavier has been a member of the ICAB since 2005 and specializes in Criminal law.
After graduating he studied the Master of Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences by the Universities of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra, and completed specialization courses in Criminal Law in the Jurisdiction of Minors, in the legal representation before the Court of Jury and in criminal evidence examination.
Xavier offers his clients, both individuals and companies, a complete service in the area of criminal defense throughout Spain. He works to defend those who are being investigated in criminal proceedings, and to exercise the private prosecution, in defence of those who have been victims and/or harmed by a crime.
He is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, and fluent in English.
