Amy Allison

Amy is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and earned her master's degree in Addiction Counselling from Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies in Center City, Minnesota. She has several years of experience as a counselor in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is passionate about helping those suffering from addiction to connect with their inner selves and recover from the debilitating effects of active addiction. Amy utilizes mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help people honor their emotions and understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors in order to create a fulfilling life for themselves.

Patrick Zierten

Patrick has been working with individuals and families struggling with substance misuse for over 12 years. During that time he was a counselor, Program Manager and Executive Director for a number of treatment and rehab facilities. He brings his personal experience and a wealth of addiction recovery knowledge to this office. He prides himself in remaining open minded and aware of all the latest addiction related research. If you have a question…he will have or find the answer. He is a passionate speaker and has spoken at a number of conferences, rehab centers and community information workshops. He is the author and presenter of papers on "Addiction; a Spiritual Malady" and "Addiction Treatment in the Geriatric Community".
