Norma S. Marshall

Norma Marshall practiced law for more than 20 years and brings extensive and unique experience to the mediation process. Before founding Marshall Mediation, LLC she was a civil litigation trial attorney with a focus in the areas of construction defect litigation, real estate law, personal injury, general business litigation and employment disputes. In construction matters she represented general contractors, developers, subcontractors and property owners in matters involving construction defects, contract disputes and construction job site accidents. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of personal injury cases including automobile accidents, premises liability, wrongful death and general negligence. Her real estate cases have included claims of failure to disclose, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and commission disputes between real estate agents. She has represented real estate brokers, agents, property sellers and buyers as well individuals making claims against real estate professionals. Norma Marshall's experience in representing plaintiffs, defendants, individuals and large and small business makes her distinctly qualified to recognize all aspects of a dispute and uniquely qualified to assist parties to come to fair and creative resolutions in the mediation process. In addition, she has extensive jury trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Her extensive litigation experience has made her an effective mediator. After participating in hundreds of mediations on behalf of clients, Norma Marshall decided to pursue her passion to transition into the position of mediator and in 2011 completed a mediation program at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law. Initially, she continued her law practice as a Partner at Callahan, Thompson, Sherman & Caudill and offered mediation services through the firm. She has now retired from the practice of law and devotes her professional time to Marshall Mediation.
