I started my Architectural Draftsman career in June of 1992 at the age of 19 at a small Architectural firm in my Hometown of Bakersfield, CA. I quickly learned how to run an Architectural office as I was often left alone to work on projects as well as answer the phone, run blueprints, run deliveries, run office errands, and was even tasked to buy the occasional donuts on Fridays... My first two years of work in the Architect's office was mostly hand drafting and standing in the blueprint room for weeks at a time.
