One morning while eating a bowl of cereal, I was reading a little card that came with a set of wind chimes I'd bought. It told about the enterprising musician who had started the company many years before. He sounded like an interesting guy, so I followed the thread and ended up writing a profile on Garry Kvistad of Woodstock Chimes for his alma mater's alumni magazine... After more than 25 years, I am still blown away that people share their stories with me and I get to tell them. I also like telling the stories of places, particularly communities and businesses in the midst of reinvention.
