I am a public policy specialist, academic researcher and nascent educator who works in the fields of international development, child protection and business and human rights (BHR). After 20+ years of work experience focused on public policies and programs that brought greater attention to end violence against children under the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, I returned to university to complete a PhD (International Development) at the University of Ottawa School of International Development and Global Studies... My current research interests are to understand how research agendas and tools from different fields of inquiry can be brought together, through multidisciplinary research, to address the ethical dilemmas arising from widely reporting instances of harmful child labour in global supply chains.
